I wish that we lived closer, because this is a place we would come OFTEN in the summer! So many fun activities on the weekends, incredible prices, and beautiful campground. We absolutely adored our stay and only wish we could've spent more time here! Can't wait until we come back next season!
I really liked this campground. Plenty of space for non seasonals. The only drawback was the lack of sewer hookups, but I knew about that ahead of time. I liked the entertainment on Friday night. The place was definitely quite at night. It's not really near much of anything, so that keeps noise and light pollution down. The shower house wasn't very big or fancy, but it was clean and functional. I didn't use the pool, but it looked like kids were having fun in it. I arrived on a weekday and the place was dead, but it filled up on the weekend and was a fun place. I would definitely come back here.
We went for the Brow Town Festival and it was a blast. Some of the 9 bands played down near the river, so u could listen and swim. Later in the evening was fun with the bands light shows. Great place to camp, canoe, swim and just an all around great experience.
Nice place to visit. We do several river floats a year and they host the Browntown music festival. Anchoring off their nice sandy beach in the river floats and listening to music is one my summer highlights.
The women at the front desk were very rude when we first got there. My family had paid for our site ahead of time so all we needed were the car ticket and bracelet. After we explained this to them they made us pay the cost again. We then sent my uncle up to resolve the situation, they argued with him and refused to give our money back. After this situation every time they saw us they would glare and make rude faces. We stayed for the nights we paid for and had a fun time kayaking, but we will not be back.
Great place to hang out! Lots of activities for kids, decent pool, great beach area on the river, video games and pool table in the rec hall, camp store has basic necessities, most everyone is super friendly. Quiet time is enforced at 11 pm
Beautiful primitive area. Short staffed and mildly rude at the camp store. Advertising a band and no band. I think the campground was in a slump this visit. Restrooms: Third world but clean.
Even if u rnt camping ther, they still offer to take u up river to kayak or float, with or w out ur own canoe, kayak, or tube. It's reasonable and very convenient!
This place is amazing. It's so beautiful just off the Tippecanoe River. Totally peace and serenity
As a kid this place was great now not so much no gas golf carts aloud no motorcycles the last time I was there around twenty police showed up to bust a mobile meth lab I would not recommend the state park is right down the road and allow motorcycles
