The hype is real! This is one of the best hole-in-the-wall in the city and probably the best Filipino brunch place we’ve had. We tried their Beef Tapa and Longganisa plate, which were both delicious! The plate has a mango salad and garlic rice that really compliments the savoury meats. We also ordered mini pancakes for our toddler. The pancake tasted bland for our liking, but the colorful presentation with added choco chips, M&M minis, berries, and whip cream really stood out for our kid. The servers were nice people and the overall ambience of the restaurant were okay. They also have a private area/function room for parties. Their parking looks like very limited to a handful of cars so be prepared for that.
We stumbled upon this hidden gem after the laundromat and we were blessed with an absolutely incredible experience. We walked into a cute, well decorated small breakfast establishment and were greeted by an extremely polite waitress. I would rate the service at about a 7 star out of 5 if I could, heck, I'd rate the whole experience a 7 as the food was equally as fantastic as the service. Hot, fresh and homemade style food greeted us and I devoured the plate. The specialty coffees were on point as was the breakfast poutine. I'd give this place my recommendation any day. My friend and I want first thing on a Saturday. Greeted and seated right away. Staff very friendly and efficient.nI had the veggie Benedict, which was loaded with fresh vegetables asparagus, tomato, mushrooms, onion, and spinach plus a tasty holendaise sauce, served on top of a 1/2 waffle. Potatoes were hot and fresh crunchy but soft on the inside. Great fruit cup with fresh fruit banana, raspberries, grapes, orange, an apple- in a waffle bowl.
Came here first time. Ordered the philli steak Benedict with hashbrowns. First time I see fried hashbrowns. Not the best oil deposit in your stomach in the morning.nnThe philli steaks were ok. But had some chewable whites that I through away. Not a clean piece as I expected.nnThe sautéed mushrooms and veggies were good. Same with the eggs.nnJust not a big fan of fried hashbrowns.nnCoffee not hot enough. And with no essence or taste to it.nServer went chatting with other customers while I waited for putting my order in.nnFruit tray in the waffle basket was a very nice treat. I enjoyed that part.nnI will try a different place. Even tho I had high hopes after reading reviews.nnUpdate: I had diarrhea 2 hours after!
Came in, the place was comfortable to be in, wished the NBA game was on but that’s just bias, was clean, the server was friendly. Food was great, portion sizes were great, and very very tasty. The hashbrowns were amazing, and the mango salad was tasty. My tocino was a little too cooked for my liking but was still good!
