The beach is not the best but the lake is big enough for boats, jet ski, other water sports. there is also a large park with a bison enclosure. it is amazing there with a lot of wildlife and activities as well as a beautiful historic town with some of the first trade posts in manitoba

I don't know why I took so long to discover this place, I know it's many hours from Winnipeg but I will definitely be making an effort and booking longer holidays to take advantage of the wilderness in this area. My kids had a wonderful time, we can't wait to go back

Great place to camp and relax. There are also several very good places to eat if you dont want to cook in your campsite. I recomend the white house if you want fresh baking and a good breakfast.Get there early as they sell out early for the cinnamon rolls. There is also a wide variety of activities for children to keep them busy. There are also 3 good golf courses in the area. The campground is patrolled and is quiet at night. Book the full service lots early as to not be disappointed as they fill up fast.

Wasagaming is kind of a tourist trap, but a really nice place to spend a day or a weekend. LOTS of camping and hiking/cycling opportunities throughout the park. A beautiful, natural place where you're likely to see deer, moose, and even the odd bear.
