Jardins Commémoratifs et Salon Funéraire Rideau Rideau Funeral Home & Cemetery provided a respectful and empathetic service throughout the day and events. The premises were impeccably clean. The staff were professional, competent and attentive while providing safety during these COVID times. The dining reception area staff were equally professional, courteous and constantly helpful to the family and guests. It all helped for a day of being kind, dignified, and efficient service throughout the day.

I had lost my grandfather about 3 years ago and the staff put my mind ,heart and soul at peace. The staff were so respectful, efficient, caring ,kind to my family in this time of loss. I also attended grievance which is also part of Rideaus services and that helped me a lot to accept the departure of those I've lost. Thank you to the whole staff for caring and being human

It’s been 2 years since I’ve wanted to write this…. There are not enough words to express what I realy want to say. In the spa e of 11 months, I lost both of my parents, tragically and suddenly. But Rideau, from the beginning of my panic in finding out my father’s death from COVID that happened in April 2020… there were therw with me, even in the middle of the night, past midnight… someone answered me and reassured me all the way until I felt peace and reassurance, until the early morning. After, I was guided through all the details required, yes the lengthy process, please prepare it in advance for your loved ones!, by a lovely team! Fortunately, I had 2 weeks to prepare all of it, but if it wasn’t for them, and my father’s will, I would not have been able to go through all this. Now comes the funeral, which is where I want to focus and tell you all… it was more than perfection! I was blessed to have Genevieve overview and plan the whole thing which she gave so much more inspirations and ideas to have proper closure with all this. It was a very difficult time because of COVID, there were so many restrictions, including burial, so please imagine all of that. In all her excellence and devotion, this is why, I am now and was able to heal properly. With all respect deserved, they know how to give it, guide, and remind you. Thank you, once again, and all the time, Jardin Rideau, which is where I will have my whole family taken care of by. They took care of both my parents, the same respectful way, and it is in peace I say they will continuously do with me and the rest of my family. With trust and love, G. Jn

Lovely experience here following the passing of my grandmother. The staff was courteous, respectful and very helpful, particularly Roxane Guimond with the planning and Adel and his support staff the day of the visitation, service and interment. Priest Peter Biello held a wonderful service as well. Many thanks from myself and my family. We felt the celebration was very fitting for our loved one and are very grateful.

Do not deal these people or this place. Adel Lenas is so unprofessional I would never recommend him or this place. Shame on you for the unprofessionalism today.

Funeral director and staff are amazing, they took good care of our family in this time of need. The new building is a nice addition and the new reception center is spot on.

I cannot thank Rideau Funeral Home enough for their help, support, sympathy and patience with my family and I as we sorted out my Grandmother's funeral recently. Roxanne Guimond was amazing! SO patient and explained everything so well. The facility is very modern, welcoming and beautiful. The grounds are lovely and the mausoleum is stunning. My family and I were unable to be there when they placed my Grandmother's urn in her spot, so they took quite a few pictures and sent them to us. It was so nice. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Quite dissatisfied with the quality of service one expects from a funeral home. In our time of grief, we rely on them to manage the details that they are paid to handle. And we can all agree that these services do not come cheap. In addition to the music on their new system failing where the minister had to break into song to compensate for the malfunction, this particular funeral home also did not pay attention to a pretty important detail and my family is having to deal with it a year after my father’s passing. As beautiful as the setting is for a funeral home, the Collins Clarke funeral home on Cartier Avenue in Pointe-Claire was so much more professional and reliable.

We had my mother's service in September 2020. Everyone was professional and accommodating. I saw on FB that there was a contest with Rideau for a snowblower, but I passed over it a couple of times. Finally, I decided to enter and much to my amazement, I won! They called and let me know what day and time it would be delivered. The snowblower is a really good quality machine and it was not cheap! More impressive than that, the National Manager,Frank and the local Manager,Patrick came to my home and waited for the delivery and to congratulate me! Wow! You just don't see that kind of service any more! Thank you so so much! Hope I got the names and titles correct, I was still stunned when they were here, lol!
