So Rick came back to the United States and started a restaurant instead of another cafe! Of all the coffee joints.... Friendly service and good food! I was seated immediately at the bar. As time went on the restaurant became busier and there was a wait for a seat . I had the Corned beef hash with scrambled eggs and sourdough toast. I was given, I think , strawberry preserve with my toast. The hash was cooked with potato and red pepper. Free refills on coffee . Good portion and taste. I ate slowly to enjoy every bite! I noticed photographs on their wall for sale. Some I really liked and I'm considering purchasing. I recommend a visit! They do take out, have WiFi and seasonal outdoor seating available. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options may be limited, especially for the breakfast menu. Kid-friendliness: Family oriented restaurant. Parking: Parking lot can fill up quickly with people inventing spots. Wheelchair accessibility: I didn't notice any handicap parking spots. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Dietary restrictions: Let your server know ahead of time about dietary restrictions you have any I'm sure they can accommodate you.
What a great find! We expected to go to one place and ended up at Rick's since Nancy's sold. It was clean and the decor was whimsical. The place was charming. The food was very good and fresh. Service was phenomenal and if I lived in that area I would go back regularly. I think it's a no-brainer to visit for great breakfasts and/or lunch. Vegetarian options: They had a great menu. But I have food allergies and they were very considerate to my meat allergy for cross-contamination. Kid-friendliness: Definitely friendly atmosphere Parking: There is parking but it's typically similar to the northeast. There's a hill so be careful. Wheelchair accessibility: This is wheelchair accessible however I am handicapped myself and it is limiting because of the hill. Quite dangerous in some areas. But you're in the Northeast so overall a door drop off could manage your safety. Dietary restrictions: I have food allergies and they were very considerate. I have to be careful with cross-contamination because I have a meat allergy.
First timers - Super happy bellies. Place was very busy and had a decent wait, but food came out pretty quick once we were seated. Staff was friendly even though they were out straight. Food was awesome. The Divide omelette with pork green chilli was delicious and I would highly recommend. The Corned Beef hash had peppers and onions in it which was a tasty unique touch, but it was cooked to perfection without any burnt char that sometimes can happen with the hash. We split the stuffed french toast with blueberries, mascarpone, butter, and syrup. We left feeling full, but not guilty-stuffed or greasy even with everything that we ate. I wish we lived closer so I could eat here more. We will be back!
I’d like to start by saying I’m a person who really enjoys a good breakfast. I’ve been to many places to try out their breakfast. I came here on vacation from Colorado and happen to come across this on Google. Their food was absolutely Delicious, and I mean delicious! The portions were a great amount and I enjoyed every bite!! I forgot to mention they also had gluten free options. That I certainly appreciate. I highly recommend Rick’s restaurant.
We come to York every year in October and this is the first time we’ve tried Ricks, we loved it! The food was quick and hot and very good, the service was also good. We will be back!

We were really pleased with our breakfast at Rick's. Not only do they have a great menu with reasonable prices.....the service was great. Fun and upbeat with great food. We both had omelets with great advice from our server. If you like good American food...go here...you will be happy
We loved our breakfast here! The food was great and the menu had a great variety of options and flavors. The breakfast burrito with carnitas was my favorite. Seems like a popular spot with not a ton of seating so best to get there early on the weekends or be prepared for a long wait. We saw people walk in and turn around and walk out because they saw so many people waiting.
Corned beef Benedict was great. They clearly make the corned beef in house. Standard 2 egg breakfast was good as well. The vibe is homey but go early because there's a line out the door by 8:30am on the weekend.Food: 5/5
The food is worth the wait. Loved my omelette with gluten free toast. Their homemade strawberry and raspberry mixed jam was so good. I was lucky enough to buy a jar to take home. The waitress seemed overworked and not very happy, grumpy. I'll go back for the food!
