Stopped for a quick takeout order when driving past. Food took about 15 minutes to make it was late evening. Ordered 2 spicy pork and 2 bulgogi beef bowls. Lots of food, at a reasonable price. I preferred the flavour of the pork bowl. Beef was sweet without any heat -- would be great for kids! Would definitely order here again. Shop local!
First time here. There is no dining area, so I ordered and ate in my vehicle. Service was fast, food was delicious. I had the squid rice bowl; just the right balance of spicy and sweet. However -1 for no Kimchi side. What kind of legit Korean place doesn't have sides? Kimchi, at a minimum Food: 5/5
The flavour of the food is great! Yummy! But sometimes the rice bowls are skimpy on toppings. Tons of rice; not much goodness. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s not. Tonight was a skimpy night. Not sure if it’s different chefs? It’s hard to justify $60 for mostly rice.
Quaint little Korean food joint with reasonably priced rice bowls and big portions. It's hard to find good Korean food that isn't super expensive so this place is great!
Above and beyond customer service! Great place to go grab a quick bite. Bulgogi rice is amazing, great value and portions. They’re open late night so definitely recommend for a late night bite.

Super cute little place, kind staff, amazing late hours, lovely small selection of dishes and they offered us tea while we waited! Will definitely be back. Update, I suggest getting everything except the potstickers/dumplings. We went back and ordered those and they are literally just the exact ones they obviously bought from Costco with the same sauce but waaaay more expensive. Stick to the in house made foods.

Looooove Rice 101, its my new favourite Korean food restaurant. I've tried several rice bowls and they've never failed to please. Also, I had the kimchi jjigae stew on a rainy day and it completely hit the spot. I keep coming back whenever I'm in the area!
This is a great little restaurant! The food is amazing, portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. But the best part is the service. The owners/operators put the customer experience above all - we even received a holiday card from them with a thoughtful discount offer on our next order. This is our favourite local eatery, and we’ll continue to look forward to our weekly Rice 101 dinner!
