Restaurant Lyvano

A lovely little restaurant in a lovely environment. The flavors really came together well in the duck confit salad ($19). The scallops ($24) were a bit on the small side, but were well-prepared and tasty.

Exquisite terrace situated under a canopy of large trees next to the Pike River, with a view of the mill nearby. The sound of rushing water is so relaxing yet invigorating. Ordered the duck confit salad expecting just yesterday's leftovers mixed together but was surprised at how everything (duck, goat cheese, walnuts, fruits, greens) was so fresh and tasted perfect.

Excellent food in a beautiful town! We had a wonderful evening here. Be sure to sit on the terrace overlooking the river if the weather is nice.

Food was OK, service slow, we waited 1h45m for first service, it was a hot night so we sat on the terrace which is very nice, not even a full house. The chef was in a bad mood when he came out to address our complaint he moaned it was too hot in the kitchen and made excuses for the long service. When I stated that my wife's tartar was too salty he replied "not for me its perfect" then he insulted me by saying I was impolite. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic. We live near there and have eaten there before but we won't be going back there again.
