Claimed that the prices changed in the new year because the dishes will be bigger. Total scam, EVERY dish ordered was 1-2$ more expensive than advertised. Real shame because the food is pretty good. I have been twice before without this menu scam - maybe it depends on the server. Also the bollywood videos are a fun addition but subscribe to a service and avoid advertisements, quiet moments and constant changing channels. Blacklisted.

We sat down and waited for 45 mins just to get water and our order taken. We decided to leave after waiting for our food for a total of 2 hours... ridiculous. They were prioritizing the take out orders before any of the sitting costumers. Also Make sure to check the price of the items you order. They bill you by hand and change the prices by a few dollars pretending their menu isn’t up to date... they also did that 2 years ago to a buddy of mine. It’s robbery .

First the positive: food was excellent and worth the wait! Decor and ambiance was nice. The Bollywood movie playing on the TV was a nice touch. Now for the negative: service a little slow but for good food I don't mind the wait. However, the prices we got charged were not the prices written in the menu. The waiter said the same thing others have reported: that the menu is not up-to-date. He only said this for the tandoori dishes but the bill had almost every item higher in price. Not cool to deceive customers like this. Customers should be charged the price in the menu and if updated menus are not yet available then the old menu should include something with the updated prices. It is too bad that the resto functions like this because the food is very good. If you go, make sure you check your bill!

This place exists only to scam its customers. This situation has happened to me 3 times in 2 years at the same place. upon arrival, fake menus are given to you where the prices displayed are actually cheaper than what they are at the cash. Once at the cash if you question the higher price, they pull out a different menu from under the counter (with higher prices) to show you that they punched the right price... for those like me who are not satisfied by this answer and keep contesting, they then explain that the menu has recently changed and that unfortunately we had the wrong menu when we ordered.... buddy, it's been over two years. The employees are all aware of this scheme and it shows in how they are uncomfortable in this situation. They also have a tendency of handing you a piece of paper with the price handwritten on it instead of giving you and actual receipt like the law forces them to do. Why do they do this? Because on top of scamming their clients, they also scam the government by not entering some sales into their cash register system. Last but not least, last time i was there i had not received my main dish after TWO HOURS of waiting and when we told the owner that we were going to leave because it was 10:30pm, he began insulting us and trying to make us look like the thieves when in reality he's the biggest thief in the whole neighbourhood. Because he doesn't seem to care about online reviews (read other ones... they all say the same thing) i will be going straight to the Canadian Revenue Agency. I don't like being scammed but it is nothing compared to how much the Canadian government hates being scammed. i can't beleive i gave this place 3 chances. The positive reviews are fake. this place has zero respect for its patrons

The owners are cheats, they will screw you with prices. last time i went they were unable to provide a receipt and cheated me on the price. They even said they didn't charge me taxes because they couldn't provide a receipt well in fact based on his revised prices he exceeded the price with taxes. Avoid at all cost unless you want to get cheated. i am not the only comment about this
