This was the most disappointed Amir that I been to in my life. The good points were, the staff were friendly and they got Brio soft drinks. That always a plus for me. Other than that it goes downhill. My Shish Taouk pita was very bland. Didn’t had that fresh taste like usual from the other Amir that I been too. And their little potatoes taste way too sweet, kinda like sugar was added instead of the usual spices. Overall It didn’t taste right to me. I don’t think I will comeback this Amir again.
Went for take out 2 shish taouk had to pay extra for some chic pea used to be free . Then asked for 4 extra pita bread. Charge 0.50$ each but only 5 in bag but charged $4.99 for 3 extra pita breads. Not fair. Please count all items cause they don’t and charge double what the said
Delicious authentic Lebanese flavours, highly recommend you try their salads and shawarma. By far the best Amir restaurant in Montréal
I just got back from picking up some food. The total was $17 something, I gave $20 cash and the guy automatically threw my change in his tipping jar!I even had my hand outstretched to get my change! I think this was really rude and presumptuous. I won’t be back.
Decent lebanese restaurent. The shish taouk is very good. The garlic sauce is up to standard. However, the kafta is not the best. The kebab was burnt in the way where there's a significant taste of burn. Would definitely come back for more shish taouk Also, the restaurent is quite big.
Disgusting. Not fresh and tasteless . Im half Lebanese so i know better and let me tell you dont waste your money here go to shawarmaz in laval.
Craved some garlic sauce so decided to try this Amir. Ordered 3 plates for an supper. For 45$ Meat was dry. Potatoes were clearly reheated as they looked pretty beaten. The meat portion looked more like a seasoning of my potatoes rather than a meat serving. Will avoid in the future.
First ate here 2yrs ago... my wife and I got food poisoning the very next day. Thinking it was a one off situation I decided to try it out again, 2yrs later. I've now been sick for the past 48hrs with what is clearly food poisoning. Definetly the last time we eat there. Just for reference we ordered the chicken with tahini plate, potatoes, regular salad and tabouli along with water from the tap offered to customers.
I picked up food to go and found a huge metal staple in the fattouche salad...charged one dollar extra for this salad. I don't mind paying extra but I wasn't expecting a staple in my food! When I called the owner he said he was "sad" this happened and he offered me free meals next time. Really??? I would never step foot in there again. Furthermore, I wrote an email to the head office and do you know what they did? Absolutely nothing! I didn't receive any acknowledgement of this very hazardous situation. I guess they find it normal to chew on a staple while eating salad. Bravo to the head office for caring about their customers! Had to fill in a star in order to post....I would out minus five stars if I could.
Chicken plate had very little meat potatoes or rice. The Food was tasteless. It's the first and last time I go to this amir.
