Do not trust Rene. He can paint interior, but that is ALL he can do. And unfortunately, he will lie about the cost of it just to get the job - then add 50% more to the cost as soon as the job is done. Do not pay him ahead for any of it. Anything that Rene is paid ahead for, he does not come through. He will fish for more things to do after the painting is done. Just tell him no, and do not let up no matter how many times he tries to convince you. He convinced us to let him landscape our yard for a fair landscaping price, and do a very minor repair on a floor inside of the house. Regarding the landscaping, he gave a nice list of what he would do. All he did was mow the lawn, and he hacked our fruit trees. Regarding the floor, he ruined it. We had to spend extra money and time and labor just to fix what he did. We contacted Rene a few times after this and gave him the opportunities to either get the jobs done right, or to give us at least a partial refund because he did not do the work. He chose neither. Rene cannot be trusted. We also heard through the grapevine that most people will not hire him because he has a very bad alcohol problem. That put the pieces together of where the money went or why he did not return after being paid.Service: Interior painting
