This is a good shop for finding french books, gifts, games, puzzles, and decor. Nice just to browse and items on sale are very competitively priced. This location is open a bit later than most bookstores, so that's also a plus.
The store is clean and well organized. There are a wide variety of books for all ages. It has an abled number of employees who are cheerful and most ready to help locate your needs. It is strongly recommended for your reading requirements especially literature 'en français'!
Its nice place for baby and kids things to shop. All the books in English and French are available. More toys and alot of other items are available her. Things are little expensive and they don't have elevator and one way escalator only and shop is in first floor so it's very hard to go there when you have baby on stroller. We need to carry whole stroller.
Always a great selection of books and easy to ask question to their very amicable staff!
Very good store if you need anything for school or crafting or if you are just looking for a new book to read or a present. Sections in French and English. Staff is very friendly.
Well organized and nice bookstore to visit. Mostly for kids and youth though. Wasted my money for expensive items.
Incredible choice of books, calendars. People always friendly and helpful
I was treated with racist behaviour at this store. I was told “speak only in french!” when I wanted to ask a question from a merchant. I declined and asked my question in English, even though I know French too, and the guy told me that “we’re in Quebec”. I will never go to Renaud-Bray again and will share this bad experience with all of my friends who are also parts of the international community of Montréal. Extremely disrespectful and disappointing…
Really like this store! Many interesting things, loooots of books! The only issue is the behavior of some of the staff; they won't answer you in English, only French, which is super awkward and not respectful to the English speaking customers; Also, something weird happened once as we asked for a wrapping paper for one of our toys but they said the papers are only for fragile things and they refused to give us a sheet, and offered a plastic bag instead! Which is so weird as I expect it to be more expensive than a sheet of wrapping paper, and more importantly, it is obviously not a smart choice environmentally
the place is huge and you can order books there, just gotta wait for some days abt a week, they got mangas, lego, stationary…
