Rein's New York Style Deli

Rein's New York Style Deli certainly lives up to its great reputation. True, they didn't have an expansive breakfast selection, but what they did have was very good and well worth the price. When we first arrived, the line almost went out the door. There were maybe eight or ten families ahead of us. Under normal circumstances, we would have given up and gone somewhere else to avoid the wait, but Rein's had been highly recommended to us by a number of our good friends. I quickly realized that people were constantly going in and out, and despite the line, we were seated in under thirty minutes. The atmosphere was very casual and family-friendly, decorated with old New York style items and pictures. There were many children and older folk eating there with their families/friends. The placemats all had a poem written on them that (aside from being an entertaining read) explained the history of Rein's. We didn't purchase anything from the actual deli part of Rein's, but from what I saw it seemed pretty active and varied in selection. Overall, Rein's was fantastic, and I'll definitely be stopping there whenever I get the chance! (PS: When you're driving up to turn into the parking lot, ignore the massive "DINER" sign near the road. That's for Vernon Diner, not Rein's.)

1st time in. Staff was excellent! Welcomed us when I told them it was my 1st time there. Had a NY breakfast sandwich and loved it. Good coffee too!

Very good deli. Love the pastrami and corned beef. Don't forget to order a 2 cent plain. The matzo ball soup is not too salty. And the pickles are to die for. Don't forget if you want to bring home meat with you to order from the waitress so it will be ready when you are finished with your meal.

I don't go to delis very often but a few times I have gone to delis this is the one I've had been to the most. they have great food and very nice people serving them and as you can see when you walk into this place I'm not the only one that thinks so there's photos of plenty of satisfied customers even celebrities are on the wall that have been to this place it is that good that even the Hollywood and people that come visit Connecticut come here. Maybe it's just the New York flavor maybe I know the guy personally I'm not really sure but it is good food either way I would highly recommend this place anybody that's in the area

Having lived in Manchester my whole life I figured it was about time I checked out Rein's Deli. I went here on a Monday afternoon with my Mom and it was quite busy. The hostess seated us by the window (brrr, it's winter) but we got too cold so she happily moved us further into the restaurant. The menu is massive and overwhelming- in a good way. I wanted to order everything as it all sounded delicious. We both got a corned beef Reuben which was delicious. The menu is pricey as nothing more than a sandwich comes on the plate (no fries, chips etc. and about $10/sandwhich) but it was very tasty. I want to come back to try the desserts!
