I took my daughter here for her road test and, well, we have complaints .nnFirst off, the driving instructor looked like Mama Fratelli from The Goonies and didn’t even greet us with a hello when she first sat down. She was already 10 mins late but proceeded to work on something on her iPad before “getting” to us. So, we waited.nnWhen it came time for my daughter’s road test, I went next door to shop around while I waited. Figured it would take 45mins as that’s what we paid $180 for, but then got a call from her that they were done after 30mins. She hadn’t passed because 1 she pulled her body off the seat to do a right-side rear check she’s 5 ft tall so there is no way to see out the back window from her right side without pulling away from her seat!, 2 she went over 15 in the parking lot - a lot where NO ONE goes 15 and so she just followed the speed of the drivers in front of and behind her, and 3 she moved her hands on the wheel from 10 & 2 when turning left.nnTo me, this is all just a money grab. My daughter is a great driver and was even told by her driver’s ed instructor that she was the best driver he’d taught. “Mama” even told her she did great on many things. So I’m at a loss as to why else she’d fail than for the Registry to collect more money.nnShe’s going to a different registry to do test #2 and we will never go back to Southtrail registry again.

I’ve lived in the deep SE for almost two decades. South Trail Crossing is my go to Registry.nnIt’s a high volume location and yet they remain polite and helpful. Always impressed that the staff aren’t peopled out.nnThey continue to use a “Scan our QR code” solution think, Take a number that was introduced back in the Covid Protocol days. While it’s a simple to use system, and sure… if there’s a long line up you can wait in the comfort of your car… otherwise, just enter the Registry and “take a number at the kiosk.”nnRenewed my license today.n$98 dollars.nQuick photo… take another… that’s a better one. I look soulless and absent of purpose.nnNice people.nn“Don’t smile, everyone needs to look like a sad and disappointed serial killer.”

I have been coming to this spot for while, and I love the ease and added tools they have available. Entering the waitlist from home is awesome, I just head over once I know my spot is coming up and then only have to wait a couple minutes for service. I also like that they have a reminder service for my drivers license as it can be years before I need to renew and there is always the chance I forgot. It is always efficient and I will continue to come here! Yes, I don't like the south trail crossing area for driving and parking, but the actual registry is great, worth it.

The woman who helped me and my daughter out with our registration was fantastic! I don’t know her name but she was at window 9. Super helpful! Great personality! And very friendly! Thanks again 9.

Seems to be the best run Registry I’ve been to. It’s definitely quite busy, but they coordinate well and it’s got a decent amount of space. Odd spot for it, but aside from the wait time everything was quick and smooth.
