Calgary Passport Office

Just visited with my wife to get our passports renewed. It wasn't very busy, and we waited a total of 60-70 minutes, and then we were all done and out the door. All the staff at this location are very professional and courteous. We were assisted by Linda-Lee and she was such a gem to speak to. Linda was very patient and kind, and did such a stellar job in getting all of our documentation organized and processed. The Sundance location is fantastic, and the staff really are amazing here. Considering wait times are unpredictable, we had a great experience here and didn't wait long at all, and having Linda assist us made for even a better experience. I highly recommend this location for any of your Service Canada needs!

chose this Service Canada location because of the glowing reviews. despite the distance >30 km, i figured it was worth taking the chance and i’m so glad we did.nnwe arrived thursday morning around 8:40 am. my husband was renewing his passport, while my daughter and i were applying for new passports. i told my husband to expect a long line, but there were only about 6 to 8 people ahead of us.nnright from the start, the staff were incredibly helpful and organized. every counter was staffed, not a single empty one. the first staff member thoroughly checked our applications, explained what still needed to be signed, and told us which documents to prepare. that whole process took maybe 6 minutes or less.nnshe then gave us a number and asked us to have a seat until we were called. we used the waiting time to finish signing our applications, but honestly, the service was so fast and efficient that we barely had enough time before our number was called, probably only about a 10 minute wait.nnwe were greeted by Nardine, who was extremely patient, competent, welcoming, and efficient. she truly has the perfect qualities for this kind of work and made the entire experience feel seamless and stress free.nnwe won’t need to renew our passports again for another 10 years, but wow, i sincerely hope this location maintains this level of service. i’ll absolutely be recommending this office to friends and family for passport services.nnthere’s plenty of free parking, the staff are kind and patient, and even the security guard was approachable while still being professional and respected.nnwe were already walking back to our car by 9:12 am. we had blocked off our entire morning and afternoon expecting a long process, but instead we had the whole day ahead of us.nnamazing service from start to finish.

Service #1!nWay faster than expected.nArrived exactly at 8:30 AM with almost 50 people ahead of me, and I was driving out of the parking lot by 9:10 AM.nSubmitted two kid passport applications seamlessly.nThe staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and truly know what they are doing.nPlus, you get 2 hours of free parking.nHighly recommend this location!

I don’t know what’s in the water at this service Canada centre but they are the most pleasant people. Went to get my passport updated for a name change on a Thursday morning at 9:45 and was out by 10:15. I know everyone lines up early but honestly go after the rush there is no one there. Everyone is very helpful and professional and it was not at all busy. I even forgot my birth certificate in my car and the reception just put my stuff to the side and let me skip the line once I found it. I got a ten day expedited passport for $20 extra. They are lovely here.

On March 19, 2026, I came here to renew my passport. The staff's professionalism and efficiency made the renewal smooth. However, I noticed that the queuing number screen was not working properly. Please fix it, thank you.nnOn the waiting time, I noticed some elderly people were confused by the staff's calls. That makes me think of my 95-year-old father. He can drive to the grocery store, but he cannot fully understand people's speech due to auditory nerve degeneration. He can hear sounds, but he doesn't fully understand the meaning of all the conversations. My elderly father now relies more on his vision to communicate than on listening.nnPlease make the queuing number screen work well. A functional screen can save clerks' throats and help people know their numbers were called.
