Finally there is a authentic Jamaica restaurant in ottawa!! Amazing food!!!
This place opened up in my neighbourhood maybe a month ago. I decided to go check it out. Honestly the food is so good im crying, ma’am! They made this with love. Also the staff was extremely enthusiastic in the restaurant. All around a great experience.
All I gotta say is wow. Coming from Toronto with many authentic Jamaican food options so happy to finally have one of the best in Ottawa. Tried most of the menu very flavorful and tasty. Service was great, very friendly vibe.
Vegetarian options: They have fish and stuff if you don’t eat meat and other options

I tried Reggae Rooster today because I heard of a new Jamaican restaurant in the city. The food was excellent! I ordered the jerk chicken rice and peas, a jerk poutine, the chicken soup, a slice a cheesecake and a few Island sodas. It even came with complimentary sides of macaroni salad and coleslaw. The flavors were super authentic, everything looked very well put together and the portions were very generous. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious meal options, good food is hard to come by these days! I will definitely be returning to try more items. They're also some of the friendliest staff I've encountered! Vegetarian options: Escovitch red snapper, king fish, various salads
Went here and tried their jerk chicken made me feel like I was in Jamaica, the staff was very nice as well. I’m excited to try the other dishes
