Top-tier dinning experience! I don't even know where to start, but I'll try and cover all the bases. -The food was amazing! The pulled pork egg rolls were a unique and delicious start to the meal. The Korean BBQ sauce is great and the pork was to die for! My wife had the Jambalaya which was nearly perfect, the only complaint was that the shrimp was a bit overcooked. I had the Porterhouse and I can confidently say it's the best one I've had at any restaurant, and I've been to some great steakhouses. The BLT butter was just purely amazing and gave the steak such a great flavor. The sides were great as well, perfectly cooked. The drinks were great, we definitely recommend the Redemption Old fashioned and the Rojo Margarita Spicy but great The dinning room atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. Service was professional and left nothing wanting. Prices were very reasonable for what you get! 10/10 would recommend. We will definitely be back soon!
We stopped here on the recommendation of my friend's coworker. To say the place exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. For drinks, we enjoyed a local ale called Lonely Blonde. It was just the right refresher on a 90 degree day. For my entree, I chose the truffle burger. This was a 7 oz. brisket patty on a brioche roll smothered in cheese and spread with a truffle sauce. It was perhaps the most savory thing I've ever tasted. BTW, this came with ketchup on the side, but it would have been a mortal sin to defile the gourmet burger with it. One of my friends got the jambalaya. The presentation was so gorgeous it seemed a shame to dig into it. He finished every last morsel. My other friend had the salmon with asparagus, which came with a wedge salad. She described her meal as "perfect." Definitely a hidden gem that is well worth the price!
Redemption is a great venue in a historic building. The smell of wood fired cooking greater use at the door and the entire restaurant has the scent of wood fired cooking. Lots of brick blended with modern touches and artwork make for an inviting decor. We just had dessert and cocktails. The menu and food quality is more than you would expect for Faribault. Be sure and walk around the building. There are various spaces and moods. Check out the large second bar and dining area downstairs. The restrooms are also very nice and well decorated.
From the moment you walk in, the mouth-watering scent of smoked meats envelops you and draws you in further. Bloody Mary's perfectly spiced, Chicken Biscuits & Gravy, and Pulled Pork Eggs Benedict that simply melts in your mouth are to die for. Top it all off with great staff attending to your every need and a wonderful atmosphere, I know you will enjoy your experience at Redemption as much as we did!
Finally getting my review posted nine months after we visited. Getting this review posted has been on my mind since then. It's that good. Stopped in on a local recommendation. They were busy but seated our party quickly, and it just kept getting better from there. Enticing menu made it difficult to choose, so we ended up with a variety from kids meals to surf & turf, craft beer, drinks, and dessert. My dry aged ribeye, sauteed mushrooms, and asparagus were on point, and this sentiment was echoed across the board. Portions were nicely sized, everything was absolutely delicious. Right down to my son's chicken strips, which I couldn't stop eating even though I was full. But the service... let me tell you what. You couldn't find better. Our waitress was fantastic, took the time to answer questions even though they were hopping. Even got my son to eat a reasonable amount of his dinner though he was zoned in on dessert. One of the best - if not the best - service experiences I have ever had. Suffice it to say, when we're back for ice fishing, this will be one of the stops we are most looking forward to. Stellar experience, delicious food, reasonable prices. Redemption, you guys are awesome and Faribault is lucky to have you! Kid-friendliness: Delicious and nice portions.
I went here for the first time today with a couple co-workers. I have heard from others that the prices were expensive. Well, I was surprised that the prices were the same as anywhere else and the food was excellent. I had the Redemption Wedge Salad with chicken $15 and loved it. One co-worker got the Tuesday special, bone in wings $14 and they looked great and were plenty. Another co-worker got the Corned Beef $unknown and that too looked great. The staff was wonderful, the food was quick and the atmosphere was fun. Update with food pictures: I went back with a buddy a few days after my first visit. I had to try the Corned Beef. It was very good. My buddy had the pulled pork sandwich, which was huge. He loves coleslaw and he said that this was one of the best he’s had. Parking: 2 spots of free EV charging and 2 paid spots in the parking lot. Dietary restrictions: They had many menu items that stated gluten free.
We had a great first experience. Food and drinks were delicious and the service was good. The atmosphere was fun and inviting, although it was bit busy and so a bit noisy.
The food here was absolutely outstanding. I cannot say enough about how good it was. It was also very affordable. The cocktails were also spectacular and affordable. It was insanely busy but that is to be expected at a place with such great food and drinks.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
It's almost a new restaurant every 6 weeks chang of menu and drinks. The Crazy Uncle drink I think should stay on the the fall and winter menu. The steak crostinis, awesome! Drink 2 is Rojo Margarita, 3rd drink Smoke Show , personally not for me, too bitter. Pulled pork mac, solid 8.
Really delicious food for dinner, still raving about the rosemary fries. Beer selection was admirable. Atmosphere was married a little by smoke in the air and a lukewarm server, but still enjoyable. Definitely will go back if in the area.
