Red Lobster

Have not been to one of these in a long time. We took our granddaughters because they love Seafood and it was shrimp special month. The food was not very good. The portions were small enough that we ordered extra crab legs and my grandchildren are 10 and 11 year old girls.

Well it all started when we got there. We had to wait 15 minutes for a shift change to get seated, have you ever heard of such a thing. Then we go to order no crab legs no oysters is this red lobster or the local pub. How can red lobster not have any seafood. And then not to have the courtesy to let you know when you come in that they don't half the menu. Oh well stuck in the trap just won't be back. Ever!

Food great,seating was very slow, even after being seated the section of restaurant was empty along the middle section was also empty, while waiting for the crowded restaurant seating a elderly lady came in and ask for a seat, the guard on duty ( male hostess ) informed her it would be at least a thirty minutes till a seat would be available. After my party was seated we ask our waitress to go ask the lady to join us, which she accepted, fine company, interesting conversations, but the point I'm trying to point out is why is there so many empty seats in the restaurant, we were on the way home from a appointment I had and stopped to have our name put on the list two hours before because I had a specific reason for doing this , I injured my foot an using a walker, and I really didn't want to try to walk to the other side of the restaurant so the request was to be seated near the front section, while waiting several parties same size as mine were seated at the front section (I had a party of five ) ended up after a lengthy wait went to rear of restaurant with about fifty or more empty seats. The meal , waitress, and company was good. I believe the trouble was with the Guard (hostess) .

The endless shrimp nights (seasonally) are amazing. They're a bit slow coming out, but they're hot when they do come.
