Great customer service and amazing work done by Dorothy! She did a balayage on my black hair. She was professional, friendly and very efficient! Thank you again. The saloon is located in the Bloor West Village, steps from Runnwymede station and GreenP. It seems to be small but it's quite big inside, clean and well equiped. The prices are reasonable considering we are in Toronto. I would totally recommend this hair dresser.
One of my favorite hair salons. Very friendly stuff. Sara, the hairdresser, is an angel and when she gives me a haircut, I look like a model.
By far the worst service I have ever experienced. Would give a zero, if there was an option. They charge you extra for blow dry after wash. If you don’t pay, they let you walk with wet hair or ask to blow dry it yourself! Would pay, but lack of communication from the staff, you are left thinking that something like drying your hair, would be included. The girl who washed hair after colour, was rough and fast. Arrogant and disrespectful staff, blaming their overbooking on Covid and making you feel like a fool. Left with wet hair, itchy and stained skin. Also, asked for a trim before the colouring have fine and thin hair, which wouldn’t take long and told that there is no one that could do that… fine but then, friends came in and we’re told that they could “ squeeze them in”. Outrageous!! Avoid if you can, this place and find a place who actually care about their clients. Quick money grab and poor service if you don’t speak their language. ***Update*** In regards to the owners answer. I would like to clarify that your receptionist told me that I don’t have to pay for the service. Therefore, I would not even insist to pay after the arrogance and attitude I have received from you and your staff. I am aware that you hold your side, and will not acknowledge that you are at fault. You don’t know the story because your were not present. I did not request to have my hair blow dried. I have only asked if I could get a trim. I perfectly understood that the was no time available for that. However, only after a friend walked in, the time was available as I heard that she will be “squeezed in”. As for the blow dry, One would expect to have their hair dried after wash. It’s a normal thing right? It takes a minute or two. I wasn’t asking for blow dry and style. Just expect to have dry hair when I left this salon. Next time, I advise you to communicate your services before you sit someone down. Maybe clients are expected to bring their own dryer next time so they are not left dripping wet, to avoid paying money for a small service. Ridiculous! Good luck on building your clientele this way.
Excellent experience. Friendly staff. Clean premises. Knowledgeable hair colorists and salon services. My cut is always current with today's trends coupled with my personal taste. Tony is my guy; but they are all fantastic...always see smiles from satisfied and happy clients of everyonethere. Highly recommended .
Dont waste your time, they used to be good and professional. Went for a colour and was asked if I had booked a dry...this has never been a separate appt. Instead of having my hair dried, I was led to the area to pick my dryer and blow dry my own hair stating that Covid was the culprit yet you are able to colour, cut and shampoo hair without a Covid blame??? To add more insult, the colorist never bothered to check if my colour was great or even. Way too many salons in Bloor West that will act professionally in their field.Service: Hair coloring
Had to make a last minute appointment when my regular hair stylist canceled. Amazing customer service and Maddy made my hair look beautiful for my graduation. Couldn't be happier. :
I've been going to Red Label for a couple of years or more now. I've had some decent haircuts over that period of time with different hairdressers. It wasn't until Sarah started cutting my hair that I was exceptionally happy after each hair appointment. I think it can be difficult for hairdressers to know exactly what the client wants and it can lead to expectations not met or improperly communicated. I showed Sarah a picture of what I wanted and not only did she meet my expectations but she exceeded them. Thank you so much Sarah, if you ever leave Red Label I will be so sad.Service: Hairstyling
i was looking for a new place to get a haircut and the Red Label was perfect! Lina did an amazing job, honestly I’ve never been more satisfied with a haircut. She asked what I wanted it and styled it in a way that would look great on me! So professional and nice! Location, service, hospitality excellent! also loved the cucumber water. 6/5
Margaret Nichols was my stylist. I fully trust her. She has an excellent eye for detail and sensetive to creating a complimentary style when completing a colour and cut. She took my long-ish, flat, limp hair and transformed it into a very cute pixie type cut that rejuvenated my spirit. And the manager/boss, Vince, gave that extra bit of attention to assist with the cut too. Had a most Fantastic experience. Thank you so much!!
I could not recommend Bianca less. She was not communicative, and should not be in an industry dealing with customers and customer service if she is unable to effectively communicate at the minimum. Moving onto the actual colour job, it was done poorly. In my years of getting my hair dyed, I had not expected to pay as much for such poor quality. The money piece was too thin, barely noticeable and would not even qualify as a proper money piece. The tops of the head/roots were patchy and splotchy and not a shadow root. In certain lights, my dark hair seemed a weird red tinge when it was supposed to be blended into a blonde. Red Label: if you want to uphold your quality and reputation, make sure you are training your people properly. Very upsetting.Service: Hair coloring
