Red Fang Tavern

I normally really enjoy the atmosphere and live music vibe of the Red Fang. However, I was extremely unsatisfied with the service last night. April 5 I was with a larger group of 8 that arrived around 11pm. I was shocked that table service was still available and a bartender came over to us right away. 3 of us started tabs and were prepared to spend quite a bit of money. In an hour and a half time period, the server came to check on us once. We made the assumption she was just busy and decided to go up to the bar to order more drinks. We received the same delayed service when ordering at the bar and many others were served before us. When asking to settle the tabs- the bartender appeared annoyed and inconvenienced by our request. I am very disappointed, as our group was majority female. The table next to us of all males appeared to receive non stop attention from the same serving staff the entire time we were there. This group always had full drinks or a server asking if they needed anything else. As well, the males in our group received faster or preferred service when ordering from the bar. This will not be the last time I go to Red Fang but I would like to expect more from this great, local establishment. Serving staff/bartenders should be attentive to all potential customers regardless of the perceived tips that could be earned from a group. When discussing with others who have visited a similar experience was had.

Food is off the wall delicious! Home style Italian food if your Italian grandma happens to be Rocco Disperito and the atmosphere is just as tasty. The weekend live music brings in a huge crowd of beautiful people and it can get packed! So much fun and I can't wait to go again and have some more of the Backwoods Brucetta!

Excellent decor, great prices on drinks. The raw plywood floor kind of betrays a lot of the look of the tavern though. And the fact that the front entrance is closed so early, and you have to enter through the adjacent store.

Worst place ever!! Nov 23 Long story, not all the women in our group were drinking, it was my bday, the women who were had last call and upon bringing drinks bk to table was rudely told by a security guard that we had 10mins to finish n leave. He walked around our table once, less then 5min later grabbed a drink from one of the women said ur done and preceded to kick us out, one female wanted her money bk for the drink if they're weren't even going to give proper time to drink it and a altercation broke out from there. I was grabbed by my throat, obscenities yelled in my face, the worst experience ever. This place should loose their liquor license! Security is supposed to stop an altercation not cause them! We video taped the entire altercation as well and will upload once it's seen by authorities.

Staff was super friendly and live music was something i was looking for. Bit pricey but food was ok. Pasta was just fine with hardly 5 prawns inside.steak was fine. Overall Had a great time.

Great Bar, great people, great band! I know because I played there! Staff are awesome! And food next door is to die for! The Don pizza? Outstanding!

A cozy atmosphere for a private group gathering. Cozy and warm. Food was authentic and vibrating with flavour which speaks to your soul. Definitely recommend trying the meatballs and gnocci

Fantastic food! Absolutely loved it. Highly recommended. Incredible pasta! Super friendly staff as well!

Pizza was blah. Burned crust and dough reminiscent of frozen . Thank god for booze otherwise I would have not eaten it. Werewolf pizza

The food here is great. The staff is nice and I love the live bamd that plays!
