We loved it. The owner seated us in the garden for outdoor seating, and when I saw garden I mean it was a beautiful garden. I had the omelet of the day and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were delicious. I would definitely go back.
Disappointing take out. Fish & chips is overpriced - small portion and underwhelming quality. The fish is mostly batter and I was given the dregs of the fries. House salad was also a small portion for $12. There are other places in Hudson with better food that are better value for money!
Favorite brunch spot for DECADES. Never disappointed! Just waiting for the masks to come off...
The Red Dot is a Hudson icon. We go there regularly thick or thin. Foodies need not apply, thin-skinned types neither. This is a place to savor community, enjoy the eccentric, feel the difference and realize life is messy, joyous, unexpected and by and large forgiving. BTW the pork shank is to go to heaven.
Two Words: Meatloaf Mondays. Trust me. It is a WOW. And the chicken rice soup, superb.
Service was so bad, you can even taste it. 3-stars food: soggy sautéed Brussels sprouts, mummy-dry fries, watery guacamole. Pasta was meh, tuna/artichokes special was flat and sad. 1-star service: rude, slow and food was unpredictably served. Average: 2-star.
