My wife and I stayed 3 night in early September. The location was so close our tournament it was a 3 min walk. The Rooms were good for the price, the bed was comfy and the the rooms had the basic essential, TV, fridge, and MW.nJJ & K we’re responsive to requests and made the check in/out very easynWe will definitely stay again at Recreation Inn again on our next visit to the tournament.
Excellent service, room, and location. Clean and tidy room. We have big TV in our room. Love that!nShoutout to Kris for calling to check on us around 9pm since we were checking in late night around 10pm. He also upgraded our room for free! Served us with a lovely and friendly smile :
For a last minute booking and a 'motel' of sorts Recreation Inn exceeded my low expectations. Check in was friendly and efficient. The rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Staff around were available and friendly. Breakfast was not great, very little variety and also they ran out every morning. One staff member putting out breakfast items was listening to something really loud with her headphones in and was ignoring people asking her to get bread as it was empty. Very odd. Other than that super pleasant stay, would stay again. Board games available from front desk as well.
We were very pleased with our one night stop and would definitely consider booking again. Room was spacious and comfortable. Our check in was amazing, Kris is very good at his job and went out of his way to make us feel welcomennHowever, after checking out there was an $11 charge put on my credit card after the room was paid for. We are assuming this was for bottled water left out that we thought was complimentary so that’s a real downside
Discount stay for a full kitchenette, suprisingly quite overnight considering the road is right there. Older hotel and is definitely rough around the edges and dirty.nNot enough parking stalls for all guest rooms when the hotel is busy.nPrice was OK considering the full kitchenette and 2 beds but could have been better since this is easily a 2 star hotel at best.
