So we just got into town from a bike ride and instead of going to Walmart we decided to give this place a try and we were very happy we did. As we were walking up you could smell the fresh baked goods from outside. The food looked good and had good prices. We will definitely shop here again turning our bike trip if we pass another one
The busiest supermarket in Whitehorse. You can find almost everything your kitchen need in here. Meats are fresh, and vegetables and fruits restock frequently. It supports a lot of people through pandemic. Inflation isn’t their fault, but it’s definitely different with how much $100 can buy now than last year or 2 years ago. I would recommend that to avoid their sushi bar. If you had great sushi, you won’t like it and if you haven’t, it should not be your first experience. Although reading through other reviews that staff training may be something they need to work on, I rarely have questions for them, so never had an issue with it.
Maybe post your new opening time on the front door. One of your "managers" was so rude this morn because I suggested they post the change of hours on the front door. I have spent a lot of money at this store being a restaurant owner and cannot believe a manager would talk to a customer this way.
Was real happy with service, store is in the middle of a renovation and still serving customers, the new shelf Color is looking very good. Stock can be low at times but it’s still the best grocery prices in town. Looking forward to the finished look. A huge thank you to the team here. Keep up the good work.
Could be a lot cleaner, bathrooms were in need of attention. Many empty shelves, as seems to be a common denominator in most grocery stores in our travels north. Veg. produce could have been fresher. The staff were helpful.
I’m really glad they have a location here. It’s spacious and a pleasant shopping experience. I’m not sure if the store is too big but I find so many empty shelves all over the store.
Your standard catch-all store with a traditional grocery store, Joe Fresh for clothes, and alsond the regular ready-to-go food, fresh fruits and veges, and pantry staples, there's a strong selection of ethnic and cultural foods / spices which is very welcom all sorts of furtniture and home items you could need. Beyoed. There's plenty of checkout counters and self-checkout so lines move fairly quickly.
Clean, pleasant store, good shopping experience and selection. Shelves can be quite depleted at times, depending on day of week, however. Fellow RVers, please note: No overnight parking permitted.
Went here instead of Wallyworld to give local a chance. Compared to Wally it had less sele toon, but had most of the or equivalent items, but not all things were available.
There are no grocery bags for sale or to use. I get the environment thing but as a tourist I'm not traveling with reusable bags all the time. And then your carts were all locked up too. Very annoying. And you didn't have what I needed.
