Regular supermarket. There is a large selection of products and goods.nBut the downside is that most of the products are simply scattered around the store, for example, if you want to find something for baking, you need to go around the entire store to collect everything you need, butter is generally near the baking section, milk is on the other side, the same situation with cheese is half of the cheeses on one side of the store, half on the other, and so on.nWhen help is needed, workers simply cannot provide it because they speak English poorly.nThe supermarket is clean.nThere is a large parking lot on the supermarket premises.
Not worth it. Would rather spend the money at Independent where they are much more helpful, courteous and their carts are free. Also, if you do end up shopping here, strongly suggest you check the expiry dates on all food items.nn*In response to the store's reply below:*nYou can do the following:n1-stop trying to sell people expired itemsn2-free access to cartsn3-make your employees happy so that they're not rude to customersnnThen i can delete my comment and rating.
This place used to be better.nThey hire only people from India and the pilipines nowadays.nI can clearly feel the difference in atmosphere, customer service, and overall quality between this place and Save on foods.nAlso, I agree with another review mentioning Deepika, I had similar experience.
Not quite like a Superstore in the south as far as prices and selection, but it offers a much broader selection than the smaller stores around these parts. The fruit and vegetables are ok, with some nice fresh produce and some great deals, such as limes, avocados, and mangos when I visited.nVery good non-perishable and frozen food section. Meats are very pricy.nThere is a hefty YT deposit and tax on plastic bottles, so consider alternatives.
So we just got into town from a bike ride and instead of going to Walmart we decided to give this place a try and we were very happy we did. As we were walking up you could smell the fresh baked goods from outside. The food looked good and had good prices. We will definitely shop here again turning our bike trip if we pass another one
