In the past , we've had to wait over 45 min everytime for online order to be brought out Shawnessey. Thought I'd give them one more chance. Unfortunately this time was worse. We didn't receive a confirmation before our time slot, so I called the store to inquire. The lady at PC express said they weren't finished picking the order and it will be another 45min. My wife was supposed to pick them up on her way home from work but when she arrived, no parking spots available, couldn't check in , had to call numerous times to get through. Once we did, they said to come back in an hour.nnWhen I returned , had to call the PC express line 5-6 times to get through to let them know I was here. They also said all my fruit was out of stock. It's now 4:45, been sitting here for another 30 min, no groceries. Time slot was 3:30-4. This is the last time we will be using this service.nnLooking at other reviews, it seems this has been going on for months, but nothing has changed, it's only become worse. Maybe they should listen to their customers to provide a better experience,
I was very disappointed with my shopping experience at Real Canadian superstore Shawnessy. The layout of the store is terrible, with the aisles pointing to the cashiers and creating long and chaotic lines. It is hard to find what you need and to move around the store. The parking lot is also a nightmare, with too many cars and not enough spaces. I would not recommend this store to anyone who values convenience and efficiency.
A Google search specifically listed a mix that I needed and this was the closest place within a 20 minute drive... And it wasn't there and the staff just looked at me like I asked for a 2 headed llama, blank and slightly confused stares.nnOtherwise it seemed to be very well stocked with the standard array of alcohol that close to the holiday season.
Just once I'd like to get some chicken that doesn't have bone chips in it. If you're going to blatantly rip everyone off on food prices, the least you can do is hire a real butcher that can clean the meat properly. Seems to be a consistent problem for this chain of stores.
Where in the hell this company got the audacity to get delivery services from apps paying only $10 then have the drivers wait for 1hr 20mins not to mention my gas on the way to customer. I know I can simply opt out on that delivery but geez! WALMART PICK UP IS WAY WAY WAY BETTER THAN YOU GUYS. I never waited 20mins with them. The least thing that I did while waiting is to tell fellow drivers on parking lot that just arrived how long I’ve been waiting for the order. No wonder why there’s only liquor store to review for Shawnessy branch not the Superstore itself.
