We called the place asking if we needed reservation and they suggested we do and glad we did! Parking was great too, the location had a lot of spots.nnThe staff were very welcoming and we were sat almost instantly. There were complimentary fresh buns and our orders came quickly and everything were fresh and delicious! Everything from service, food, and ambiance were phenomenal! The service made sure everything was to our liking. Definitely a hidden gem!
Wonderful food! The service was excellent and it's atmosphere is charming. The seafood pasta had my mouth watering as it was set down, it smelt fantastic. The shrimp and squid were cooked to perfection, soft without any of the rubberiness you get from places that overcook it.nnThe vegetable soup was so good! The potatos were soft with just the right texture.
We were looking for good quality authentic Italian comfort food and this place is exactly that. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy, and the service was awesome. We had the meatballs to start, they were so flavourful and tasted just like your Nonna would make. The fusilli and ravioli were delicious too. Would highly recommend this family owned restaurant.
Authentic Italian food at it's best. Highly recommend if you are wanting home made Italian food. We had the meatballs as an appetizer, then as mains the tortellini and veal parm. Our server, Kyle, gave us excellent service. Make a reservation if you're going on the weekend.
Quite good Italian food in NE Calgary. The bread was hot and soft, and enjoyed the calimari and mussels. I had the tortellini zia teresa - the veal in rosé sauce was delicious. Dessert hit the right spot.
