RBC Royal Bank

Rude Customer Service. I visited the RBC branch on Fairway Road In Kitchener on Nov 11 at 4 : 45 p.m. to open a brand new bank account for my girlfriend . When I walked in . Both of the ladies at the front desk were frustrated with their system being slow and were handling it very poorly (Huffin and puffin) Finally got greeted nicely by a gentleman who was always smiling when speaking to his customers. He asked If he can help us and I stated that I wanted to open a brand new account for my girlfriend and move all her assets from BMO to RBC. He asked If we have all the necessary IDs and documents and we said yes . He then asked his his advisor (who was walking towards him) If she has time to see us and she quickly glanced at us and said no thanks!! I am done for the day!! .. we were in total shock for her short and rude response.. very unprofessional and rude. I mean at least she could of said. Oh I actually have to run out . I just finished my shift. but I would love to see you guys maybe tomorrow or sometime next week. how about we book an appointment? . This location has always been very poorly managed . I always visit the Highland location even though I live 1 minute from the Fairway branch. Will never think of visit this location ever again.

I've been waiting on hold for 1/2 trying to get information about a hacked credit card only to get hung up on without even speaking a word. Great customer service.

Shortly, after we are arrived, my 5 years old daughter need to go to washroom. on our way to their branch washroom,one of their employee stopped us . She is very rude and asked us to go back the front desk and get somebody to escort her to the washroom. She said we are not supposed to walking around alone in their branch. There were a lot of people lined up at the front desk and waiting for help. I can't wait for my turn. I took my daughter to the Harvey's their next door neighbor. She went to the washroom. We didn't buy any thing there. There was no questions asked. so I went back RBC to canceled my appointment and left. I am very disappointed with their customer service.

RBC is the worst bank in Canada. This particular branch is total mess. Long waiting, tellers do not know what they are doing - I deposited cash, asked to transfer money to close my loan. Lady was punching her PC for ages. I came home, logged in just to see that no transaction was made per my request and money is still on chequing account. That story is one of many that I had with this bank. Ridiculous! Save yourself time and nerves and do not use this branch or this bank.

This is branch has a terrible teller service. Usually only 2 working, they are always slow and are always engaging in all kind of stories with the costumers, making the rest of us wait longer than necessary. After they deal with a customer, they go in the back too for some reason, so More wait in line.. I'm always late after coming out of this branch. They need to improve their service.
