I love RBC and have been a customer for years. Oh, I also worked in banking for years! They are the least helpful branch I've been to. I forgot my wallet and went there to deposit cash with a teller. Cash. I know all of my info, including my card number and account number, PIN number etc. She said they couldn't deposit cash without identification. I used to work in banking, that's not a thing. Who the heck is fraudulently depositing cash to other peoples accounts? No one. I'd probably recommend going to Pembroke RBC or anywhere else where their training is up to RBC's standards. I would like to mention that the teller was friendly, it’s just a pretty silly and inconvenient way to do business.
I currently was not an RBC customer and never had much dealings with them. I recently got in a jam and emailed RBC on a whim for a mobile home mortgage. I was given Rhonda Belisle as my mortgage specialist. I’m sooo beyond impressed with Rhonda, she called me right away & started my file immediately! She worked well into the late evening trying to get me financing, constantly in communication and reassurance. She was wonderful to speak to, well adverse in her speciality, always explaining everything she was going to do and what and why she needed certain items from me. Even if I do not get approved, I would still be so impressed with the level of service I received in such a short time. I am in absolute awe of this dedication and customer service skill! Well done Rhonda, you’re a gem!
Lost bank card. Reported it lost. Reported at lost on the website. Website told me to go into the branch to get a new one. Gentleman behind counter refused to listen to my story and told me that I could do everything that I wanted on the app and I would get a new card within 10 days. I tried to explain that I needed the card right away he kept saying I could do all these things on the app I would get the card in 10 days. What is the matter with people these days they're like robots with a speech to make instead of listening what to what the customer needs or wants.
