We’ve had our advisor change 5 times in the last three years and we were only notified once by a new advisor we had to find out the others by ourselves. So disappointed with their lack of professionalism and I’ve steadily lost my faith in this branch based on their inability to keep employees and lack of transparency and communication with us as clients. There are usually two guys at the front and each time I’ve been in they’re dismissive, unprofessional and told me information that I later found out was incorrect.
Months back I went in to deposit my grandfathers money that he left me when he passed away, it was a cheque from Italy, I came back to see what happened when i didn’t see the money In my bank account, the worker there told me it came back as “fraud”, as he said that in front of many customers in the bank at the time, which was embarrassing to start, after further investigation they tell us that RBC cannot take cheques from Italy.nThat caused a huge delay because I now had to have another cheque sent from Italy, their unproffessionalism and lack of knowledge is the reason I’m writing this review. I was so scared that something in Italy happened where someone swapped the cheques, as scams are much more common there, until we found out it was the banks lack of knowledge, I was very upset.
Extremely unhelpful and didn't care about my bank issues. Drove to Windsor and the RBC branch fixed my problem in 15 mins!! The two boys working at RBC amherstburg need to find other jobs. Pulling my account from RBC.
Drive thru headache. 1st takes my card and doesnt return it and on a diffrent occasion took my money and couldnt process it. When I went it the employee told me it showed in my account so its ok, when I asked him to go check he said no need. Now I have a letter that the deposit is not accurate and money is missing from my account. This branch is nothing but problems and their customer service is the absolute worst.
This RBC branch deserves a minus star rating in my opinion. I had an issue with one of the advisors I had met with who was supposed to follow up with me. He didn’t follow up and blamed me for not calling him back. Hmmmm, thought that when you tell someone you will call them back within a certain time frame, that would be your responsibility not mine as the client. Isn’t that your job? I then called the customer service 1 800 number who listened to my complaint and referred me to the manager. The manager was worse than the client representative I had deal with previously. She was rude, once again, put the blame on me, and took zero responsibility for how her employee or herself acted. No apology, just blatant disrespect. Plus, both of these employees made reference to the members account not having much money in it. So, if you read between the lines, if we would have been account holders who had large balances we wouldn’t have been treated so poorly.nThe most disgraceful business I have ever deal with. I can’t imagine why anyone would keep their money at this institution.
