RBC Royal Bank

This has to be the slowest bank ever. If I could go to the machine and take care of business I would. It would be a great idea to have more than two tellers on a Friday afternoon!

I would actually give my review half a star if I could. I have been a client with Royal Bank since the early 80's and only just last week I treated so quite rudely but a bank teller/advisor. Because of him I plan to pull out of Royal Bank and transfer somewhere else in Barrie. I don't even want to step foot in that bank ever again or a Royal Bank for that matter for how I was treated. I am a mature student working at a great job and I am settled in this city and I will make sure I let all know about my experience with this bank.

Worst bank i have ever dealt with when i asked them a question they told me to call because they didnt know the answer to my question..not to mention they are so completely rude that it could drive someone nutty. The one lady could see that i was in a rush i was the last one in line and she made me wait for 20 min i was not impressed and i left when i went back the same day with my boyfriend she did it again. I knew there i was a reason i left rbc the first time i dont even know why i went back to them not impressed

I have been an RBC customer for well over 30 years and have never received such rude treatment as I did at this branch. We talked to someone regarding refinancing our mortgage but she was so condescending that we asked to deal with someone else. The second woman was not much better. I understand that because I am self employed we do not fit their lending criteria. I can accept that but to treat customers as rudely as I was is terrible. RBC is a fine bank, just do not go to the branch at 53 Bayfield St lest you be stuck dealing with either of these two women. Use a different branch. We did move our mortgage as another bank was more than willing to lend us the money.

Staff aren't as friendly as other RBC branches.
