We do our business banking here & the other day I decided to cash my last two personal GST checks that had been in my wallet since October. I had ID so she could confirm my address & identification but she kept rubbing the checks with her fingers, typing using 1 finger because her nails were like sharp loooooong knives, reading, & rereading every detail on the checks. It took 8 minutes to cash $200 /CRA administered checks at this branch! and I got to feel like a criminal! Good job RBC! maybe you could top my customer service experience by arresting a 12 year & her granddad next!
If you're trying to get ahold of someone in the branch, don't call this number. It doesn't exist. I spent 30 minutes trying to figure out where my visa is. She simply told me to try and go there in a few days. Terrible customer service once again from RBC.
Twice in less than 2 week that their ATM has been down for service. It was an easy reminder, of why I switched my Accounts to BMO.
Went in to ask few questions and the female advisor was the rudest person I've met in that position. Talking down and belittled me. Feel like really changing banks, thanks Eden.
They know nothing about customer service at this branch. Honestly useless. Phone reps were not able to solve my problem so i went in because THEY HAD DEACTIVATED MY CARD by mistake at my last visit. How???? Why???!!

Right off the bat you can see on the website they've got some realtor promoting himself on the RBC website. Try to call the branch you can’t talk to anybody no matter how hard you try. I was going to deposit close to $1 million. I’m getting information I won’t be doing it with them. RBC is too poor to offer human services. All you get is speaking to robots you can’t talk to anybody human.
My Grandmother banks here. Last week she tripped on a soaking wet rug at the front entrance and was hospitalized for a week. We came back today and the rug is there! The edges are distorted, which could cause a fall if a cane got caught on. I informed the teller and hope to see the rug discarded or replaced as it's a safety hazard to all customers!
Probably one of the most poorly run branches around. You’ll be lucky if the drive through is actually working, even luckier if they decide to put the “closed” sign up instead of pulling up and finding a blank screen. They do not have enough people working inside to make the lines flow fast unlike the downtown location. This is very annoying when most people are trying to minimize contact and avoid traveling all across town for another branch.
RBC is a great bank and has some of the best accounts and services available, but the customer service at this branch falls far short. While most of the staff are good, there a few, including a manager, who seem to forget that they are providing a service to a customer, not someone who has no other choice. The experience is similar to that of many government offices. Many of the "advisors" seem to have done little more than a crash course in finance. In one particular instance I wanted to redeem an RRSP voucher earned through points on a credit card there towards a particular investment. After the advisor went through the program to determine "what kind of investor I was", it provided a list of recommended investments, none of which were the one I was interested, but I was told I would have to redeem the voucher for one of the investments listed, and transfer it online later. Great value in the accounts, particularly when bundling financial services, but if customer service and competent financial advice are what you are looking for, avoid this branch. A constant exception to this is the mortgage specialist Jonathan Powely, who provides unbiased advice based on your best interests, and not his commissions.
