BRANCH REVIEW: ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENTnnThe service at this branch has consistently been mediocre, falling short of expectations in several key areas. Here are the main issues:nn1. HIGH STAFF TURNOVERnnThere seems to be constant turnover among the tellers, with someone new behind the counter almost every visit. This lack of consistency makes it difficult for staff to build relationships with clients or provide personalized service.nn2. FREQUENT LINEUPSnnLong wait times are a regular occurrence. Efficient staffing and better queue management are needed to improve the client experience.nn3. CASH AVAILABILITY ISSUESnnIf you’re planning a trip and need U.S. cash, be sure to call ahead. Walk-ins often face limitations on cash withdrawals, which can be frustrating and inconvenient.nn4. UNINFORMED STAFFnnDespite RBC offering seamless cross-border services between RBC Canada and RBC USA, many staff members seem unaware of this feature. Clients should not have to educate the staff about the services the bank provides, as this undermines confidence and trust in the institution.nn5. LOW INTEREST RATES on accounts, TRANSACTION FEES on specific accounts, and the LACK OF PERSONAL ENGAGEMENT are significant drawbacks.nnThese factors have led us to do the majority of our banking elsewhere. That said, the RBC USA connection has been a valuable feature for our family, particularly for travel and cross-border transactions. This service is the primary reason for my rating not being lower.nnOverall, while this branch has its advantages, the operational issues and lack of client-focused service leave much to be desired. There are a few great tellers . But there is one young lady who truly thinks she is gods gift to the universe, she is consistently wrong but will try to make you feel like you are wrong. Even the choice of clothing and slogans she has on her shirt scream ‘entitled’. Fortunately there are some folks around her that can help. If the branch manager doesn’t recognize who this is they need to ask some of the other staff.

Horrible customer service provided by Youssef. If you're not willing to work and assist customers, you shouldn't be working on a Saturday afternoon. I was there to pay off my statement balance as I had not received my credit card for over two months. He kept interrupting me and raised his voice for no valid reason.

I am a brown immigrant and have been living in western countries UK, USA and Canada for last 30 years. I have been going into this branch for RESP needs. Most times, the adviser I get is an immigrant from south Asia. This usually occur when the manager of that branch is also from the same part of the world and favor their own during the hiring process. Equal opportunity has been compromised.nnAt first he/she wanted to know all about me & my family, such as am I from India, which part of the India am I from, what my wife does for living, why & when I immigrated to Canada, what type of food we eat, what was my job before immigrating to Canada, what’s my children do here and so on... i.e. all my private life.nnThen they will start saying which country he/she is from usually Indai & when they came to Canada, what was his previous jobs before joining the bank & what their children do for living example: My daughter is a doctornnHONESTLY, RBC NEEDS TO TRAIN THESE PEOPLE BETTER, THEY NEED TO KNOW WHAT THEY DO IS ILLIGAL. TREATING ME BETTER OR WORSE DUE TO MY SKIN CLOUR, MY ORIGIN, MY LIFESTYLE SHOULD NOT HAPPEN. MY PRIVATE LIFE IS NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS & I DON'T NEED TO KNOW THEIR PRIVATE LIVES AS WELL.nnI am there to do business and please treat me as a customer.

Shout out to Yousef for helping me out today. I don't have a bank card as I prefer cash only. I have my I.D and all required information but apperantly you need a bank card now? Anways he helped me so I got my money. Thanx for helping me so I could shop for presents for my kids.
