Prior to affiliating his practice with Raymond James Financial Services, Clay was a retail financial advisor for Wells Fargo Advisors (formerly A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc.). Shortly after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Technology from Central Missouri University, Clay earned an Airline Transport Pilot’s (ATP) license and enjoyed a career as a professional pilot in his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

Away from the office, he has served as a founding board member for Working Wonders Children’s Museum in Bend, Oregon and currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Deschutes River Conservancy. Clay, his wife Amy and their two sons, Max and Reed, enjoy playing in the outdoors and family adventure travels.
