Stayed with family camping always wonderful everyone in the park is always so nice and fun to be aroundRooms: 5/5
Since it's a seniors park and seasonal it is always quiet and peaceful. Being only a half hour from the city it is a piece of lakefront paradise that is a quick and easy escape for every weekend and can also be enjoyed after work.
In 2005 I started my summer vacation experience at Ravine Cottages. My trailer was small and my knowledge of trailers was very limited. I soon learned that the people around me were my friends - ready to help out this novice camper. Now, two trailers later I still enjoy the peace, solitude, friendship, and yes, the assistance still of my Ravine friends. I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to relax in such well organized, well manicured, beautifully treed surroundings.
Beautiful place. So quiet and the scenery is spectacular! As new residence, we've experienced the most friendly people.
Not a kid oriented type of park. Mostly for people retired or thinking of retiring. Nice social club for all kinds of things and events to take part in. In the middle of wine country.
So, so rural campground - some nice areas but also a lot of red neck sites/trailers.
Just called to inquire about the camping or cottage rental...was informed this is only a senior snowbird type place..no camping at all. So the reviews I am seeing are from the seniors?? Confused/dissapointed
Over the many years I have camped overnights or seasonally, this places best overall
Nice, clean, with big trees. very quiet.
It's that peaceful feeling you get when you drive in
