The food is really, really good. You just have to understand a couple of things to enjoy yourself. First, this is a family run restaurant. They're open when they're open. Usually it's open during their posted hours but not always. So don't be too upset if you go there and it's unexpectedly closed. Also, everyone there is very direct (and I think that's what the "bad service" comments are about). You may be used to servers coming to your table, smiling at you and asking how you're doing, but here they might just say "what do you want" from across the room, loudly so you can hear. They don't mean to be rude, they're just being direct. They're very nice people actually. And the food is excellent.

I picked up dinner last night and it was awesome. I had the chicken cury and I got something for my wife (don't remember the name) that was like a seafood soup over noodles. Nice and spicy, just the way she likes it. The menu had great descriptions which made it easy to order for someone that isn't familiar with the cuisine. Great portions for a great price. I'll have left overs for lunch today. They were very busy. but got my order out quickly.

We heard about this place through an Odyssey post and thought we should try it out. Upon walking in, the shop was kind of small, but still had seating area. The staff was very friendly and our takeout was ready in less than 15 minutes. The food was amazing! Never having anything besides cheap Chinese food, this stuff definitely took first place. We will definitely be back soon.

This place is truly a gem. Authentic Malaysian restaurants are incredibly rare, and this one has to be the best. Favorite food in Kalamazoo, and family owned and operated.

This place... this place blew my mind. I went and I ordered what Ivar suggested,some kind of green curry thing, vegetarian. I ate it and went directly back for a second order. The next day I took my friend to this place. He ordered one thing, I don't remember what it was, and he went directly back and got a second order. And then the third order. This place is the best kept secret in Kalamazoo. I've never had anything like it, this is the most delicious food I've ever had. PS Ive lived in Chicago, New York, and LA.
