My son is 38 years old and had a heart valve that was almost completed shot and only working at a 50-70% radio. He was told that he had a congenial heart problem and instead of 2 flaps over the aeorta, he had two. After researching my son found Dr. James Oury and this is a doctor that hasd been touched by God skills wise. Dr. Oury did a complete rebuild of his donor heart valve with an operation that lasted 11.5 hours. His ability to keep that family informed was stellar. Every hour and a half we were getting a call from the nurse assisting him to connect with us and let us know hiw the patient is. His follow through for calming the family was no less than a miracle, My son weighed over 300 lbs and has made medical history as the first patient to have a Ross procedure and come out like a champ. Dr. Oury found a donor and for that I love and bless him, as it normally would have been a mechanical valve and the quality of life would be compremised. This doctor is a great man, humble, caring and is top notch in CV. James Oury- preformed a miracle surgery on my son and gave he and his children, wife and family a reason to thank God and Dr. Oury.
