The store name is very fitting! There is an unrivaled range of products all under one roof. Everything is very competitively priced. My only criticism is how narrow the aisles are, but if they were wider they wouldn't be able to fit as many different products onto the shelves! I have visited the stores in Luton and Milton Keynes, this was by far the tidiest. One advantage the Range has over its competitors, is the arts and craft section. I'm not familiar with art supplies, but to my untrained eye - they do look superior in quality. Not to mention, there is far more to chose from.
Nice layout. Bigger than initially thought from the front. Great select of items. An Iceland inside think this is the norm now for the range which I like. I miss my local Iceland. Worth a visit. Staff nice enough. Point removed for no loos. For a store that size, for woman of a certain again, it would be a bonus to have toilets. No Biggie as the left buying only one item on the hunt for a loo. I couldn't think about shopping once I decided I needed the loo.
Extremely frustrated with my experience there. Went to return a curtain, but accidentally brought the wrong receipt. The staff were unreasonably rigid, refusing to let me leave with my own curtain without a proof of purchase. I was right there, just a few steps inside the store, and they wouldn't even consider checking their CCTV to confirm I walked in with it. This kind of distrust and inflexible customer service is unacceptable. I'm thoroughly disappointed and have no intention of returning to this store.
Friendly & helpful staff. You get what you pay for. I bought a sleeping bag+air mattress ~£25-~£35 each Mattress pump failed at it first use, sleeping bag gave up next day.
Today was my first experience at The Range in Bedford, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. While the store’s inventory is indeed impressive, the lackluster customer service overshadowed it all. A particular interaction with an older staff member was so rude that it soured the entire experience. It’s baffling that a company of this reputation doesn’t invest more in training its older employees in basic customer service. Because of this, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. This was a glaring enough issue to make me avoid all future transactions with The Range. They need to reevaluate their customer service practices if they hope to maintain their reputation.
Although a while since I shopped, I'm afraid to say the increase in sales area has done nothing to enhance the shopping experience. I felt the store looked tacky. And who in their right mind is going shopping in Iceland!!!
Free parking, not sure if there is a time limit or not. Normal opening hours even on bank holidays, a very large place, has two floors, no cafe, but does have an Iceland within the place, some great summer furniture on display, priced similar to other places, always seems clean and tidy.
My first visit I was very impressed the staff were very helpful and the range of products was extensive at very reasonable prices I took advantage and purchased a lot of Christmas decorations
Good value found what I needed but a looooog queue which is often the case.
Amazing and nice place where it is possible to buy funny things. Stuff for the house.
