De wolf park is a fantastic place to enjoy a long walk. The broad walk overlooking the Bedford basin is breathtaking when the sky is clear and there is some cloud covering. There is plenty of parking available , even if you visit on a weekend parking is not a problem. A well maintained washroom and wheelchair accessible park. The park has some outdoor excersise equipment. Lot of rides for kids. If u get a chance make it a point to visit during sunset.
First time I've visited this particular spot in Nova Scotia and it was absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful scenery, playground, washrooms and a nice long walking path to enjoy the view from. Close to amenities, so a nice spot to sit and drink a coffee on a nice day.
A great place to enjoy amazing views of the Atlantic. Had a well maintained walking path and even a children’s play area.
We go here quite regularly to kick back and relax. My 10 year old daughter enjoys playing Pokemon Go and this location has several stops and Gyms. It has a nice boardwalk that you can take a stroll on and has a ward attached that you can sit on and watch locals catch fish or simply enjoy the sounds of the ocean. This park also has public washrooms and is dog friendly. Sometimes dog trainers hold courses here as well. There is ample parking with 2 parking lots near and if full you can always park on the side of the road which is a side street, so should be no issues finding parking. There is also a pirate ship playground for kids and open fields if you like to kick a soccer ball around or throw a frisbee etc; There are also picnic tables if you would like to pack a lunch and eat it by the ocean. Overall a great place to spend the afternoon. If you have not been here, you need to check it out at least once Sorry I forgot to take pictures on our last visit but will update with some later..
Good park with lots of walking paths. Can get busy on days with good weather due to a big playground space as well as being next to many houses and apartment buildings. Lots of pokestops and four? gyms for Pokemon Go players. Can walk a few kms back and forth to get enough exercise for the day. Ample parking space available. And great view across the water at fall scenery. Some days, you can see people fishing on the pier.
I haven't been here in about a year, but what happened to all the beautiful trees that used to be here? Most of them are cut down. What a shame.
Did an adventure Lab.on a rainy day learned a few things beautiful spot. Clean washrooms. Trails. Playground for kids. Picnic area. grassy spots to relax.
Nice park, it can be quite busy. There is a good selection of activities for children. The wharf is a popular fishing spot and there are washroom facilities.
It's my favourite place to walk, especially late at night or early morning. It is always busy in the summer, but most busy during late morning. There are people fishing or doing barbecues even at midnight. During winter there is less crowd. Playground: Kids enjoy it. Restrooms: Never used it, but doesn't seem clean.
Very nice park on the Bedford basin. One of the few remaining parks in HRM which is on the waterfront. It is very popular with local families and has a kids playground area for then younger crowd. I didn't give 5 stars because it is somewhat crowded and fairly noisy. UT if you have small ones, they will.love it there.
