Ranee Management

I wouldn't want to rent at their buildings, they have tenants stealing and random strangers stealing packages. Management is aware and does not inform tenants. Be aware! Security is only good at ticketing parked visitor cars. Tenants opening doors to random strangers. No enforcement . Experienced bed bugs and roaches. Random water shut off, Elevator doesnt work for almost a week.

Infested with cockroaches and bed bugs!! I was at 700 ontario st on the 9th floor and for 4-5 months I was haunted by bed bugs even though we had 4 pest control treatments. Finally on the 4th time they changed the treatment and we didn’t see any for a couple of months. Those 4-5 months I used to be covered in bites and had to keep everything either in my suitcase or in sealed bags. A very tough and stressful time! Finally moved out in July 2022.

Moving to 3112 Yonge Street on July 1, 2021 was a big mistake! The unit that I rented is such a mess. to begin with, my washroom stinks really bad. Bad odour comes out from the sink in my washroom. Water comes out of the sink in the kitchen every time other tenants who live above my unit turn on their dishwasher machine. Also, water has been leaking behind the wall in the kitchen ever since I moved here. The outlet beside my TV only works when the lights are on in my living room, so basically I have to have the lights on to be able to use my TV. The refrigerator's door does not close properly. I had to throw out around $200 worth of food due to that. I was promised that they would change my dishwasher and paint my door since they are in a really bad condition before I moved here, however, it's been almost 3 months and no action was done. I have contacted the management so many times regarding the mentioned problems with my unit and almost no action has been done. I am extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this building to my friends and family.

Worst management ever. They never reply on time. Everyone from this management is so rude. They argue with everyone all the time. They force tenants to stay here. The apartments are nasty. Filled with roaches and bed bugs. The superintendent is so rude with tenants. None of them cares about the tenants, they just need money. I wasted a year in this filthy building. Do some research and please do not come here. Price is not even worth it. Bedrooms are tiny. Everything is so old.

I live at 1 Fountainhead Road. Ranee has harassed me for the last 5 years to try and force me to move out. Even after receiving an order from the Landlord and Tenant Board telling them to stop, their harassment continues. When I asked for help, the local property manager told me that, "You are the problem." They victim blamed. When I persisted, people higher up the food chain at Ranee told me that, "The landlord and tenant board won't do anything to help you." They used this excuse to do nothing. Staff at different levels of Ranee know that they are breaking the law. They don't care at all. During the Covid 19 pandemic of 2020 people had to stay home, so they couldn't work. Ranee continued to hand out rent increases during this time. Their April 27 2020 letter read in part, "Rent payment should be a priority for any individual. If no payment is received we will be forced to file an application for eviction." They were completely tone deaf to the pandemic and the effect it had on renters. Ranee Management is owned by the wealthy Zolty family. They own massive amounts of real estate, including 30 buildings and 7,000 units across the GTA. If Ranee Management is such an awful company, it is because Zolty wants it to be this way. Their company motto should be, 'Sit down. Shut up. Pay your rent.' Their company motto should be, 'Sit down. Shut up. Pay your rent.'

Faduma who works for the St. James area of Ranee Management is incredibly useless & arrogant!!! Avoid at all costs. She definitely does NOT care for clients needs.

Worst place ever. We have crack heads trespassing every day terrorizing tenants and making a mess and does management do anything? NOPE. Even the security that apparently they hired are never seen. Management doesn’t do anything.

I live in 700 Ontario almost 8 years. I have good experience, nice management, superintendent is very attentive. Good location

Stay away from any building managed by Ranee...google them. Do your research. Please, please just don’t do it. If you don’t want to follow some stranger’s advice...just go to any building managed by Ranee Managment and talk to any of the tenants you see. Don’t learn it the hard way!

I lived here for almost 8 years now. I loved the location because it’s very accessible to everything. The apartment is clean too!
