I recently visited Ramen Arashi and was blown away by the delicious vegan options they had available! The staff were all so friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in search of a tasty and satisfying meal. Plus, the fact that they have vegan options is a major plus in my book. Overall, an excellent experience at Ramen Arashi!
Hands down the best ramen I've ever had. I love the blend of flavours and we tried spice level 3!! Also love their crispy chicken, it's fried to perfection, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Great service too! Please open an outlet in Calgary too! Must try Chicken karaage Devil's Arashi
Delicious!!! Best ramen I’ve ever had. Still thinking about it months later. Make sure you get there early as there will be a very worthwhile wait.
Incredible ramen in an unassuming little strip mall in Canmore. This place was not in our radar for dinner but we were looking for soup. Alas, Maps brought us here. And we were not disappointed. It was a freezing night but the establishment was still packed full. The ramen selections are modest. But the quality was amazing. And the service was very friendly in this humble space. We will definitely be back and we're thrilled we now have this to add to our dining options.
We came here at around 5:54pm on a Tuesday and put our names down on the waitlist. There were already several other groups ahead of us. We waited an hour before being seated at the bar. The floor had a huge puddle of water where we were seated. Staff were nice and moved us to the other side of the bar away from the puddle. We ordered the chicken karaage, pork gyoza, and takoyaki as starters. All were delicious. I ordered the arashi ramen, which was very sesame and peanuty. My ramen was lukewarm, not hot. My partner ordered the spicy tonkatsu which came out piping hot. The pork chashu was extremely tender that it melted in my mouth. However, I prefer a more roasted pork because their meat was too soft for my liking. Overall, I wouldn't wait an hour to come back, but worth a try if there's no line.
This place is a hidden gem because who woulda thought you’d find some of the best ramen in CANMORE, ALBERTA! Located just 20 mins outside of Banff, this small restaurant doesn’t do much aesthetically but gives its all culinary department! As I am writing this, I have just realized there is also an location in Banff, yay At a restaurant like Ramen Arashi, you are truly just going for the food because the service is nothing out of this world, seating is extremely limited and there is no waiting area. But as I said, the food does not disappoint. We started with the Pork Gyoza, which was pretty standard. Then we ordered Signature Tantan and Black Arashi ramen bowls. These bowls were actually amazing!! The bowls included the best pork belly and best noodles I’ve ever had in ramen till date. The pork belly was delicious and so tender. The noodles were a perfect texture, thick with a nice chew to them. The only thing I didn’t really love was the amount of spinach in the Tantan, it was cold/almost frozen and kind of took away from the dish. Just as a FYI, Arashi also has some supposedly super good vegan and gluten free options in their menu - so some of the babes won’t be left out, haha!
We stumbled upon Ramen Arashi around 10am while parking in the town after doing an early morning hike in Canmore. So glad we got to try their take on ramen. The black garlic ramen was amazing! The flavours of the black sesame broth were prevalent, along with the creamy peanut flavours. Would 100% recommend if you happen to be in the area!
This small, unassuming restaurant is located in a strip mall that we almost drove by. We arrived around 8 pm after a long day of sightseeing. Despite the fact that it was only 30 minutes from closing, we were greeted with a smile. Fortunately there were a few open tables. The waitress explained that they can adjust the spice level of the first 4 ramen dishes in the menu and you can omit any ingredients you don't like. I ordered a mild Arashi ramen, my husband ordered the Black Tan Tan, and my daughter ordered the Miso ramen without green onions. Very delicious!
Good ramen, but personally I like super hot soup, but soup was just warm. And peanut flavor is too strong for me. It’s just my personal opinion.
Love this ramen shop! Visited here from Vancouver and it’s very comparable to authentic ramen places there. They have unique ramen I haven’t tried before like the black arashi and curry ramen. Both were very filling and satisfying after a cold day outside. We came during happy hour and tried the karaage too which was delicious . Worth trying out, lots of options so I would ask the staff if you are having troubles deciding. they are very friendly!
