Great park for toddlers to older kids. Rubber floor, lots of climbing, floor trampolines, water fountains great for little ones. Not your typical playground. We call it the rocket ship park! Cafe washrooms attached too. Leash friendly for dogs, lost of shade.
One of best kids parks around . Its got a mini splash pad fountain area . Its got lots of places for climbing around . The surface on the kids area is a soft rubber . Huge towers for kids climbing and huge slides . Bike parking and car paid parking around and nearby public transportation. Its got Washrooms . Cafe shop . Upper level area for walking around and platforms . Its leash dog friendly . Benches to sit on around and chill .
What a nice surprise!! We were walking by and saw what we thought was a simple pedestrian overhead bridge, decided to check it out, ended up there was a net that you could walk on built into the bridge with a fun park beside. Park itself had a unique trampoline built into the ground, plus some towers you could climb even adults can fit fine, with a nice tall slide.
good park in the downtown core, stopped to check it out and it felt like a big city park. Vancouver is growing up a little note, they removed the slide as it was causing a disturbance to the neighbourhood. they mentioned they’re trying to find a solve Playground: it looks sick, I will bring my nieces and nephews here Restrooms: saw people going in and out, didn’t check them out myself Dog-friendliness: saw dogs, they looked happy
This park is exemplar of landscape architecture done well! The space feels inviting for kids AND adults to hangout, play around, and relax. There are two trampolines on the ground surface, giant slides, slopes for climbing, and two mesh sitting areas. Come with your friends for a game of cops and robbers or grounders for a fun time
Absolutely the best park I have been visited so far. A variety of features/equipments, abundance of seating, a clean washroom, a water fountain, a cafe, and so close to the central library. Children can spend a day here for sure. Shady areas get small during the midday, but the elevated structures can provide enough shade for the patrons. Playground: A top notch accessible playground for children of all ages. Restrooms: A clean new washroom right by the park. Picnic area: Ample seatings allow all the patrons to find comfortable place to sit and eat. I didn't see a table except the one the park board set up for craft activities.
Opening weekend! Absolutely bonkers busy and PACKED with kids/families. What a fantastic and unique playground. 5-star review from our 6 year old. Lots of places to sit and watch. Inclusive safety surfacing. Lots of play elements for all ages. Public washrooms and water fill up stations. Great attraction to this area of downtown.
Great park in downtown Vancouver. It has a few climbing structures, an overhead pathway with netting, some fun slides and a couple in ground trampolines. It is a really fun park for kids 5+, although if your kiddo is a good climber then they could definitely be younger. Overall we had a really great time at this park, there is lots of places around the edges to sit and a lovely little cafe close by for a coffee and treat after an afternoon of playing!
We love this park. A couple washrooms there, water fountain, splash area. Kafkas Coffee place right there, Starbucks is also close by. Obviously no free parking, we usually park right on Richards st. Kids love it, it is a modern looking area in the Center of Vancouver.
Super busy, crowded, very nice park. Some things are starting to break down but understandably with the volume of kids and parents this playground gets... Plenty of shade due to the tall buildings around it. The coffee shop in the corner best thing ever. Trampolines were a bonus. Seating wood planks around the playground for parents. Playground: Plenty of things to do Restrooms: 2 restrooms beside the coffe shop.
