Wildlife Mastigouche

I am completely sickened by the treatment by the staff at this camping. I warn people be careful the staff mistreat their clientelle.I was supposed to camp Aug 6-8 however there was a death in the family So I called to cancel 24 hrs before and they would not refund me. I then asked if I could reschedule after I found out about the funeral. instead they pushed me to reserve asap after saying I would have a credit. The sadest thing is they are asking me for a copy of the death certificate when it's not even my own father who passed. It's not right it's inhuman and wrong that they are giving me trouble.in life things happen and in my case I lost my best friend at 52 yrs of age.they can keep my money it's no longer worth fighting with someone who has no compassion. I will never in a million yrs camp here

Extraordinary nature however most of the camp sites are very remote...so be well prepared for wild camping

Nous sommes allé dans le chalet no.5 de la réserve faunique Mastigouche. Nous avons été super bien reçu, l'endroit était très propre et tous les lacs étaient très bons! Le lac d’accueil (le grand Mastigouche) était très bon pour la pêche! Les tirages au sort se font avec beaucoup de respect. Nous y retournerons! Merci à Ghislain (le gardien) pour sa gentillesse, son respect et ses très bons conseils!
