Queenan Family Medicine

I had the pleasure of calling Dr. Queenan my doctor for four years in Rochester, NY. I have never had a more thorough, caring, intelligent physician in my life. She always listened to my concerns, helped me manage my asthma extremely well, gave me a printout of our conversations and what I needed to do, and always followed up with me even when I forgot. She is super organized, compassionate, and knows her stuff. We lived in the same modest city neighborhood for awhile and she was a very conscientious parent with happy children. I was very sad to say goodbye to her but I know she is sharing her love and wisdom with others in Canada. I highly recommend her if there is ever an opening in her practice I know she is always in high demand!

Dr. Queenan is an excellent doctor with the most wonderful, kind and respectful bedside manner. She is a great listener and was always available when I needed an appointment. I never felt rushed during a visit.

Dr.Queenan is a kind, compassionate and caring doctor. She has brought so much to our community and continues to fight for those essential services such as maternity care. I feel lucky to call her my GP! I highly recommend her to anybody.

I never have posted a review before but I felt obligated to. The community needs to know how incompetent Dr. Queenan and her office staff are. It’s scary actually. Emails are never answered, calls are never returned, patient files have been mixed up so often with the continuous change in administrative staff, prescriptions and requisition orders have often been prescribed for the wrong patient, Dr. Queenan is not thorough and rushes her patients, she has horrible bedside manners, she doesn’t allow patients to share more than one concern per visit and the list goes on. I was shocked to see any positive reviews. I have to wonder if she writes her own. Honestly it’s better and safer to go to a walk in clinic than to have her as a family doctor. RUN FOR THE HILLS!! There have been four different administrative assistants in the past two years. They keep quitting. That speaks volumes!

Dr. Queenan is a kind, compassionate, and patient person and doctors. There was much sadness when she announced she was closing her Rochester office and moving to Canada. Her decision to move was based on a desire to stop battling insurance companies and simply be able to practice medicine. If you have the option of having Dr. Queenan as your family or maternity provider, I highly recommend her.

We cannot in good conscience give more than a one star rating for Dr. Queenan as a family doctor. It’s time to find another physician or simply use medical clinics. It’s alarming when you’ve been given the wrong prescription because of a patient file mix up. It’s disheartening when you cannot share more than one medical concern during an appointment. There is always a new receptionist. Dr. Queenan has a cold demeanour. We were encouraged with her when she arrived in town but her people skills have become negative. It’s disappointing.

Dr Queenan is a caring person. I am very impressed with the care I have received from her. Much better than my previous Dr. She truly listens and wants what’s best for me as a patient.

Dr Queenan is an Amazing Dr. She provides the time, care and attention to her patients and you can see she loves what she does. You are not rushed in and out with a waiting room jam packed with patients and she is thorough. I am so lucky to have found her and her practice.

I continue to have exceptional care and service with Dr. Queenan. Availability, response, efficiency, concern, excellent care and bottom line....I am taken care of. I saw Dr. Queenan with an ongoing medical problem. She has a lovely demeanour, and even though she couldn't help with my problem, she was so kind and understanding.
