This is an excellent Italian restaurant. Service and food were great. I think we got talked into ordering a lot of food but we were hungry so we went for it. We had the appetizer plate for two which was 10 appetizers each was a one or two bites but it was a great way to sample many things. That was $26 per person. We forgot to take a pic of this amazing plate. We had two cocktails, 2 pasta dishes one was spaghetti Quattro which is spicy dish with cheese and black beans, the other was halibut/ricotta cheese ravioli which was excellent. I think we were full at this point but we have already ordered braised short rib for my wife and veal chop for me. We also had dessert. We were extremely full at the end and honestly uncomfortable. My advise is to go with an appetizer, and either a pasta or main dish but not both. We had similar dinner courses like this in Italy but the portions were smaller and made more sense. Chocolate tart was so good and I highly recommend it for chocolate lovers.
Exceptional food. Incredible service. Hosts were very accommodating. They gave a great wine recommendation, explained the menu thoroughly, and made the overall meal an enjoyable experience. Chefs are A++, every plate was the best food we've ever had. Amazing. Especially worth noting- was the sampling appetizer comprised of 10 picks from the Chef. Out of this world, could have just eaten that and dessert. Came for the skiing, will be back for the food.
Solid Italian food in Whistler. We had a huge group during a long weekend and made a somewhat last minute reservation, and was successful. Service was attentive and they sure kept our wine glasses filled most of the time! Food was delicious, everyone liked the mushroom pasta. The pasta of the day was clam pasta and it was delicious! Otherwise, the regular menu seafood pasta is also a hit.
The food was decent, but it felt like it missed the mark when it comes to fine dining Italian food because I’ve had better. The beef was not very tender and the pasta was way too salty. The wrapped cheese appetizer was simply not to my taste, although that’s based on personal preference rather than the restaurant’s fault. The tiramisu was not bad, but nothing special. Overall a good experience, but not good enough for me to want to come back again when there are other places around. Service was great and the atmosphere of the place was very nice.
Excellent!! Went with the whole family and there was something DELISH for everyone. Highly recommend the mushroom pasta. Ambiance was relaxed and our server was very nice and friendly. They seemed very busy so we had to pour our wine ourselves but that’s okay. It was also a bit loud at times, so maybe carpets would help, but the decor is so pretty, so I get it. Still worth it for an excellent dining experience
This is a distinctive Italian restaurant with decoration and environment suitable for dating and business meals. I ordered a rib eye steak. The size really surprised me32oz steak+ Local vegetables.You can share with 3~4 people. Of course, if you are a big guy, you can challenge it by yourself. It tastes good and worth trying
Excellent Italian food. Their pasta and braised beef short rib is phenomenal! It felt like we were back in Italy. Wish they offered more reasonably priced bottles of wine. They literally only sell bottles that are $100. There are more offerings in the $500 range than the $60 range. No offerings in the $50 price range…. Such a a shame. Their sticky toffee pudding is excellent… but they need to offer more gelato.. it should be a 1:1 ratio. It needs to be an equal part gelato to pudding ratio. Service was kind and attentive… almost too attentive…. we felt pressured to leave which was so annoying… they kept trying to take our plates multiple times when I was not done. I had to keep saying that I’m a slow eater and I like to take my time.
Super tasty Italian food. Great atmosphere for intimate/romantic dinner. Pastas are to die for but they don’t serve pizzas so don’t get too excited. And of course the bred! Highly recommended.
It's hot as hell in there on a summer night. It made the experience a lot less enjoyable. Food was so good, though. Prociutto was amazing. Drinks are amazing looking at you, pear-rosemary cocktail. I miss you already Service was pretty incredible my water and wine were never empty but we had a very polite table and didn't find the server to be super responsive to our friendliness. Just the tiniest bit of reaction to thank yous would have been appreciated. Even a smile.
So far QUATTRO is our favourite restaurant in Whistler! Food is fantastic! If you like Italian cuisine with a taste of Spanish, that’s your place. Grilled squid, Mushroom pasta and braised beef - are my best choices! Service is great with any server there, specially Bill is doing good job. Staff is friendly, thanks for the manager and front desc, who always find the sit for us. Now I’m craving their meals all the time Be careful that’s addicting oh and try Tiramisu
