Really enjoyed this dinner last night. Staff was super nice and helpful- not just with foods but local hike recommendations too! We had the Four Cheese Pizza with Ranch and the Margherita with Olives. Both so good. I do wish my Margherita pizza had more Basil tho. But I love Basil. I actually loved the ranch since it was pretty dill heavy. We had a bottle of Chianti and it was plenty of food for two.
Happy hour everyday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. $8 margarita pizzas. can't beat it with a stick. honestly, best pizza I've had in the nation of Canada. authentic Neapolitan style Italian pizza with scissors. as in, you cut the pizza with scissors. not to mention the $4 beers, which are craft. Craft beers. The server was an angel. everybody should come here every single day when they are in Whistler.
We ordered 2 pizza. The Funghie pizza was absolutely fantastic. The other one however was burned and the crust didn’t taste good. The service was extremely bad. We waited for 40min and we were about to leave that the waitress showed up and asked us if we are ready to order. Never checked on us so we didn’t have a chance to let her know one of the pizzas were burnt. We had to go to the front to ask for our bill because it felt like the waitress is going above her way to avoid contact with all customers. Really disappointed and I don’t think if I will go back.
Another food my wife loves is pizza, and I don’t really like the chain restaurants type, I want the authentic gourmet kind of Pizza, so here we are. The pizza were really good, dough were so fluffy, and thin, the sauce was on the carne fell off the pizza, but it was still tasty. The pasta was the only slight disappointment we had, pasta was a little under cook, it’s a little harder than al dente in my opinion. Beer was great. Service was friendly, we like it overall
I have a lot of respect for any pizzeria that can make the perfect Neapolitan crust and Pizzeria Antico is one of them! They have a great selection of pizza so we had a hard time choosing! My favorite was fungi pizza that surprisingly but also delightfully came with equal parts caramelized onions. Cutting your own pizza with the scissors they provided added to the fun!
I am a big fan of Neapolitan pizza, so this was a place for me to visit. The pizza didn't disappoint. I have had better in the past but those were the officially best rated in Vancouver, in Halifax or they were in Rome. Antico was still awesome. It was a hot, 34C weather the day we visited and the place doesn't have air conditioning. I wasn't even as uncomfortable for myself as I was for the staff who had to work there between the blistering pizza ovens and the outside sun. I will definitely return on a cooler day.
Ordered pizza and pasta, all were very delicious and yummy. Fast service, friendly staff and nice dining area. Definitely will visit again.
Absolutely loved the food and drinks here. We tried the Margarita pizza and the Gnocchi and both were delicious! The prices are reasonable for how filling the food is and the staff was beyond kind, would definitely come back!
Grabbed some pizza to-go from there. The place smelled delicious, cute rustic decor, and quick delivery. The staff was really friendly while we waited for our pizzas. The pizza itself was super tasty I had a margarita, my boyfriend had the carne. Perfect for a cold, wet day. Will have to go back for a sit down dinner sometime! The pasta looks delishous!
We had a large order and were served promptly by our very nice waitress despite it being being quite busy. The Caesar salad definitely was the best of everything we tried. The pastas were full of flavour but the pizza although thin crust and wood fired was very soggy minus the outer crust. The flat bread that came under the Caesar was cooked perfectly and very good. House red was quite nice although pricey. Very loud in dining room and not the most comfortable table/chairs.
