Quarry Hill Nature Center is located in 329 acre Quarry Hill Park, often referred to as the "jewel" of the Rochester Park system.
The Nature Center is admission free and features many exhibits that are sure to engage both children and adults.

Outside the park features paved bike & dirt hiking trails, a 3 acre pond that's great for fishing & wildlife viewing, restored oak savanna, an historical man-made sandstone cave and a Limestone fossil quarry.

Quarry Hill Nature Center offers hands-on programs, including science enrichment for schools, classes for preschoolers through adults, group naturalist programs, birthday parties and summer nature camps. All of these classes and programs are staffed by professional teachers and naturalists who guide participants in discovering the natural world for themselves. Natural Science discovery programs encourage creativity, exploration and investigation skills and respect for nature.
