A comfortable & friendly place to stay in the Upper Penninsula of Michigan

Story

Newberry's Quality Inn & Suites has many great features. Conveniently located on the corner of M-28 & M-123 in walking distance of family dining, fast food, gas stations, and a golf course. Included with stay is a free hot breakfast with sausage gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, a waffle iron and more! We have the largest indoor hot tub in the UP along with a sauna to sit back and relax in after a long day exploring the sites. We have access to the snowmobile trails along with ample parking space and snowmobile rentals on site! Our gift shop is always fully stocked with souvenirs, gifts & goodies. We even sell snowmobile gear such as boots, gloves, jackets, helmets, and much more. We have clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff who are always willing to go above and beyond to help make your experience in the UP a grand one!

I stayed in the "honeymoon suite" with the heart shaped hot tub in the room. Overall, I was very satisfied. The room itself was very cozy, with the unexpected addition of an in-room gas fireplace to give it a super cozy feel. The bed was comfortable, the hot tub was all I expected and more (it can fit two easily-I think three would fit comfortably actually). The hot breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The only complaint I would have is that the room could get very noisy at times. We were next to the staircase, and that got very loud in the morning and evening, plus I could very clearly hear the TV playing in the next room, and loud snoring from I don't even know where. Other than that, though, it was fantastic, and I absolutely would return.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Comfortable beds with multiple pillows. Good breakfast with choices for everyone. Large hot tub and sauna, no pool. Inviting areas to sit and relax. Loved the moose art and photos.

The Quality Choice Hotel in Newberry, Michigan is a wonderful place to stay. The office staff, are friendly and knowledgeable. The housekeeping staff are all that you could ever desire. Everything from the spacious parking lot to the nicely maintained interior make it a wonderful choice while traveling or sightseeing, and the breakfast is worth staying for.

Very nice room and good accommodations. Good location to visit Tahquamenon Falls. Breakfast had a good selection. Was disappointed that the hot tub and sauna was out of order.

We stayed here on our way to Pictured Rocks. It was good for a night but the hotel is dated. The rooms are small and the shower wasn't the best. It was booked to capacity the night we stayed and you could tell. We asked for extra towels and washcloths and they didn't have any. They were also out of the free coffee in the lobby. Breakfast was decent though and gave us a good start to our day.
