Americas Best Value Inn - Tahquamenon Country

We travel a lot and this was by far the most pleasant experience with a motel I can remember. The facilities are CLEAN! Pool & spa area are the cleanest I've ever seen in a motel. The staff was amazing!! Friendly & competent, always greeting you with a smile. We will definitely stay here again.

Great for a one night stay. Was driving home through town and stopped for the night. Spacious rooms, beds are alright. Could use some new carpet. Fine for a one or two night stay if you're just stopping through, probably wouldn't stay longer than that though

The staff at the Inn were courteous and fun, we needed a little extra help and they helped in every way they could. The rooms and pool/hot tub area were very clean and comfortable. We will hopefully be able to stop by there next year also.

The rooms are descent size, carpet seems quite worn, and very basic rooms. Fine for a night or 2 given low price. I will say that the bathroom was very clean and service in check in was very nice.

The hotel was nice, the complimentary breakfast was amazing and they kept it out and fully stocked for longer than most hotels. I came down stairs to go to my car and was offered breakfast even after hours. They do their best to make it feel like home away from home, very very nice people willing to help you with whatever matter you have. When I called to book I was calling last minute for my birthday but the lady did what she could to find us the room we needed in such short notice. After our visit a week after being home I realized I didn't have our room receipt, I called up to the hotel and even though the lady was extremely busy and the only person on staff she did everything in her power and went above and beyond to help me get my receipt. She tried emailing scanning faxing and after nothing worked she took her own time to send it u.s. mail. It may not seem like a big deal but it was a huge deal to me. She went above and beyond her job to help somebody and there's not many people like that these days. My family and I will definitely be returning to this hotel on our next vacation to the U.P. thank you Eunis for being such an amazing person!!!
