The hotel is pretty decent, the staffs I encountered were nice and bilingual. There are vending machines at the lobby.nnThe room is okay, requested for a single bed but got double instead, the bathroom was stocked with towels and other sanitary items. As for cleanliness, the room furnitures were dusty, the beddings had stains and hair strands on them.nnSome of room had a doubled door passage leading to another room. So for safety purposes, ensure to locked your end of the door so that the your neighbour wouldn’t be able to access your room.nnOverall, I had a peaceful stay.
There are better places to stay in Bathurst.nnUnfortunately, I had a death in my family and needed to adjust my travel dates to attend the funeral. The hotel initially told me they could not accommodate the change because I had prepaid through Expedia. However, after speaking with Expedia directly, Expedia contacted the hotel manager, who confirmed that the hotel was simply choosing to enforce its policy rather than accommodate the request.nnWhat made this especially disappointing was that rooms were available on the dates I requested. I even offered a compromise: move my stay by two days and extend my booking with an additional night, resulting in more business for the hotel. Despite this, they refused to make any accommodation.nnI understand that policies exist, but customer service and compassion matter, especially in situations involving a family death. Based on this experience, I would not stay here again and would recommend considering other options in Bathurst, such as the Best Western or other local accommodations.
Rooms furniture is old. Carpet is old. No complimentary water bottles offered.nnBreakfast is basic.nnMy room had used towel left in the bathroom. Conditioner shampoo was not replenished.

Disappointed by the Experience – Cleanliness and Service Need Serious ImprovementnnWe stayed at Quality Inn Bathurst for an overnight visit before an important medical appointment for my son at the nearby hospital. We chose this hotel based on the hospital’s recommendation, expecting a restful and comfortable stay—but unfortunately, our experience was far from that.nnCleanliness: 0nThe room was in very poor condition. The carpet was so sticky we had to wear slippers at all times just to feel comfortable. Even worse, there were bugs in the room—my children noticed several inside the bathroom. This level of cleanliness is simply unacceptable.nnService:nWhile I initially tried to overlook the condition of the room, the behavior of one staff member made things worse. I was making waffles for my family at breakfast when she abruptly told me to stop halfway through because someone else was going to use it. Her tone was rude and dismissive, and it felt completely uncalled for. We were just trying to have a peaceful meal before a very important day for our family.nnI don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience compelled me to speak up so others are aware. We came to Bathurst looking for rest and peace of mind before my son's cochlear implant activation—but instead, we left feeling disrespected and stressed. I sincerely hope the management takes feedback like this seriously, for the sake of future guests.
