We got the room and it was dirty. Dirty sheets, mold in the tub. We asked for another room and it was worst. We had to clean the bathroom by ourselves and ask for clean sheets that we installed. They offered us to leave the place 2 times and offered 35$ off the price we paid. We don't want 35$ off, we were ok with the price. We want a clean room. We don't want 35$ rebate to sleep in a dirty placenn**Update: management took care of the situation the next morning and did offer good explanation and a good service. This I change the service rating for 4 . Management said they were on renovations and bringing many changes to the place.nWe will see next stay.
We reserved this room for one night, as soon as we drove into the parking lot we could tell it looked a bit rundown not like a typical Comfort Inn. Check-in took a very long time. We started walking to our room and The hallways were filthy, it looks like it hadn’t been vacuumed for quite a long time. Stairwells had coffee stains all over them, not mopped up. We use the two cards to try to enter into the room and neither one worked, went back to the desk and they said oh you need a key…. We walked into the room, and the curtains were torn in a couple of areas, the carpet was not vacuumed. Absolutely disgusting! We immediately left and asked for a refund, thankfully, they gave us one.
Upon arrival, we were told that the morning staff messed up our reservation and instead of a ground floor double room, we had one bed and were on the second floor. I was travelling with my elderly father and this made things very difficult for us. I managed after some negotiation to get two beds on the second floor. We arrived in our room and while it was clean, there was nothing in the room - no cups, one small towel and no coffee for the coffee maker. When I called in the morning to get more towels, I was told there was a laundry issue and they couldn’t offer me any more. This hotel has potential but it felt like it was being run by disorganized teenagers!
Curtains have a huge slash that was just taped back together, windows bug net is completely destroyed, weird black scratch marks on the wall in our room. Dude at the front desk took ages to check us in despite us being the only people in the lobby. Also, don’t mind the other residents trash casually spread across the hallways.nnYou get what you pay for, cheap but expect that to be heavily reflected.
Typically, it takes forever to check into a Comfort Inn, but on this visit the receptionist, Jagdup, was extremely efficient and checked me in within minutes.nnFurthermore, he went out of his way to accommodate my request for a ground floor room.nnNotwithstanding that, when he saw that I was a Choice Hotel points holder, he made me feel like a king!nnKudos to Jagdup!nnAnd as usual, the property and rooms were clean and comfortable.
