Easily the best gym in the Cariboo Region. Super spacious, amazing selection of equipment, lots of Hammer Strength machines, and the staff and owners are very friendly. One of my favourite gyms in B.C.
Been tanning here lots the last year and a bit and it was always great, but recently I’ve noticed their cleanliness starting to slide and I ended up with warts on my hands from holding onto the straps in their stand up tanning booth. I got one wart on each hand and this is the only place I can think of that I got them from so just beware when you go in there….. yuck… :
Tanning is a good price. I sure hope they get an Angel Bed Red Light Therapy in soon as vibrational red light is the most amazing for skin therapy! Tonne of room for it.
This is the only gym in town that has a women's only area that has plenty of equipment. Membership prices are a little high for what you get compared to some big city gyms. Good atmosphere. My biggest problem was when I signed up, there was no tour, I wasn't told where the cleaning rags were, and when I was getting protein powder the cashier was not very knowledgeable but you can really just google that kind of stuff. I've been going 4 days a week, and have had no problems!
Excellent selection of free weights and machines this former Golds has everything anyone wanting to take up bodybuilding could ask for.nLocker and showers could do with a renovation, and overall, the gym could use a face-lift, but for working out, it's got everything.
