Service is great. Staff allocates time to explain the wide variety of flavors and is welcoming. Great place to go to when looking for the occasional snack in the market. My favorite item on the menu has to be their root beer float. I like mine made with their Thai Tastic ice cream as the base. Tastes good.
Always delicious with friendly workers. When I went into the store in February the worker even pointed out the sale to me that I didn’t notice 2 pints for $11! My boyfriend’s favorite go to is the raspberry with chocolate chips while I like the salted caramel.
We either pick up or dine-in about once a week at the Mequon location. It’s always wonderful. The staff is friendly and the ice cream is The Best. We are so happy that this location was able to stick around. Thank you, Purple Door staff!!!
Love this ice cream shop. Conveniently located in a market that has great seating and atmosphere. Delicious flavors, and even some vegan flavors my 2 year old can enjoy as he is dairy intolerant. 10/10 would recommend
Always unique, flavorful, quality selection of homemade ice creams. Even their plain vanilla is outstanding!
Just super disappointed that I came all the way out because I haven’t been able to visit in years, and despite physical and online hours being posted as 9 pm close, workers informed us they were closing at 8:30. But I’d been standing there a few minutes before 8:30, and they were already closing up… I’m a food service worker with late night hours and just serve everyone until the last minute. It’s my job, and unless it’s unsafe I let people know we’re closed. I was ignored at the counter before they responded with a couple quiet words. So honestly just go to Milwaukee if you can to have the best experience.
Decent ice cream with very interesting flavors. You can have kids sizes and shakes as well. I also like the split single version to fit two flavors in a small portion. Great desert after any main course you've had at the market.

Lauren is the sweetest, most attentive person at this establishment. Her presentation of the scoops are beautiful. She works in a timely fashion, all while keeping a fun and positive atmosphere about the place. 10/10 do recommend
